- Very quiet operation compared to the belt drive lift it replaced.
- The opener range is fantastic, paired immediately with my vehicle.
- I bought this because I increased my garage ceiling from 9' to 14' and as a result my older garage door opener (chain drive) would no longer function due to the change in the track geometry (shortened distance of pull on power track). it is very nice unit.
- So car this is the best garage door opener that I have ever had. It's real quiet. I mean that except for the creaking of the roller s on the door it's almost silent. It also gives you more room on the ceiling and is less complicated.
- Ridiculously, this unit has no option to tell the motor to run in the correct direction if your door springs/cables are considered "reverse wound."

- t's quieter and much smoother on my 18 x 10 door than the belt or screw drives, which struggle with the weight. Great design.
- It is much quieter than either a belt drive or screw drive conventional opener (had both of those before).
- The garage has 11-foot ceilings, and I didn't want a traditional belt- or chain-drive unit hanging more than three feet down in the middle of the garage. So I looked into the jack shaft openers.his one deserves the ratings. It is easy to set up, easy to program, super-quiet, and it just works.
- I highly recommend this jackshaft style verses the space eating cumbersome overhead type openers !!! This really is a one person install unit .
- This opener was fine initially but now I constantly need to reprogram the "move/down" switch so that door remains shut when it hits the ground.

- Super quiet, no noise transmitted through house.

- It moves slow - both directions. The accessories that were included were pretty lame (one opener? no key-pad device? I think that a little more wire for the controller would be helpful, as well as more staple - wire retainers).

- I also like that it came with the ceiling light and the automatic deadbolt. I used a bulb adapter to wire the ceiling light controller into the existing lights (slightly less wattage) but other than that followed the instructions.
- VERY QUIET operation which is really nice late at night. The automatic light when stepping a the dark garage from the house is another great feature.
- The programming was easy, two steps, really! The opener is quite and when I say the door opens and closes gracefully, I mean gracefully as in slow.
- I love the features on the opener. The motion-sensor light is great, the temperature reading is useful, and the lock on the opener for vacation is great.
- The auto-deadbolt on the track makes me feel much more secure about the door.
- The overhead light attachment goes through light bulbs like they are fuses. I have had the product for less then 2 years and have replaced the light bulbs 5 times.
- The interior lights: I would have thought these were individually controlled by each respective opener. Turns out both come on and off at the same time-- not really needed.

- Love the security lock. Easy to setup.
- Fantastic! Install was pretty straight forward. I have never installed a garage door opener before, and the instructions made it easy....took only a few hours. The electric deadbolt is an awesome security feature too.
- This unit is super quiet compared to my belt drive opener and has great options like the automatic door closer after 1/5/10 minutes. This is a great security option.
- Wire connections are not well labeled.
- I was thinking it would make the garage less cluttered but with all the wires it doesn't too 3-4 hours to hide all the wires. Safety monitors are at the bottom of the doors and are venerable. If someone or things bumps one monitor the door won't close.
- I would have given it 5 stars if the description made you aware that because of the “security+ 2.0” most people will additionally need to purchase the repeater to make it functional with Homelink buttons in cars.

- The deadbolt security feature is nice and I don't have to worry about burglars opening the centerline opener with a wire clothes hanger.
- There is the power lock. Wow, they really thought of everything on this opener.
- All the security features, like the Protector System and Auto Reverse work great. The auto lock is a plus feature.
- I like lock feature that gives a level of security.
- Extra security provided with automatic dead bolt. Wall button with temp and time, remote control and mount anywhere ceiling / wall light. Everything is top quality.
