- The noise cancelling feature is REALLY noise cancelling. I really struggle to hear someone talking to me off-game, even in a completely quiet setting.
- Extra perk, they have excellent noise cancellation so I can use them for other purposes.
- The presets are easy to switch between and make a difference while gaming. These have mic monitoring which is great because the over the ear design cancels out room noise so well.
- These drain my battery like no other when they're connected. Definitely invest in rechargeable batteries of some type if you're using these regularly!

- Cushion are supper soft and microphone stays in place well & detaches if you want to take these on the go.
- They have plenty of cushion over the ears and at the top of the set. Wearing these does make the entire gaming experience more enjoyable.
- Amazing bass/sound. Clear mic (tested on twitch). Comfortable wearing up to 6 hours or so. Doesn't kill the controllers battery life. The footsteps feature thingy setting works very good.
- They are great for the gamer or music enthusiast looking to not bother those around them. The sounds are crystal clear and accurate to the direction the sound is coming from.
- The sound stage for audio will be VERY irritating to the audiophiles out there. Heavy in the bass end, very little in the treble section.
- The Dolby sound is amazing. Once complete setting up your Astro a40. Enjoy your new experience of Astro a40 + mic amp Pro
- The mix amp makes it easy to adjust volume, they are comfortable and easy to move around.
- Sound quality and amp are really impressive and high quality.
- The sounds are very deep and clear and the multiple settings make it even better. Astros software in the computer that you can use to edit your four channels on the mix amp add a whole extra level of customization for someone who is serious bout their gaming and their sounds.
- Natural noise cancellation is pretty lack luster
- Awful distorting sounds when using the digital out on my PC. Do not recommend if you plan on using these headphones on PC regularly.

- The sound is fantastic and the mic works very well. No issues, no concerns with this one.
- The game "EQ" settings are awesome; im usually using the Natural or Bass Boost settings. The mic settings also really help you speak with other players.
- Mic is fantastic and helps cut out unnecessary mic breathing, both with its little pop filter and being able to pick up sound from a ways away.
- Mic is fantastic and helps cut out unnecessary mic breathing, both with its little pop filter and being able to pick up sound from a ways away.
- Sound is good. Not the best I've had. Lots of feedback through the ear pieces and the microphone isn't recognized sometimes. 5 months later and the mic doesn't work at all.
- This headset has the best mic and audio quality for both PC and PS4.
- Mic is pretty solid for the most part
- As for the mic quality, my friends can definitely hear me clearly. Especially when I set the noise gate to "streaming," when using the Astro command center.
- The mic would cut out on default settings (unless talking unaturally loud), but that was addressed by adjusting the software on the amp via a pc.
- There are some issues with the mic. It has some popping and hissing, no matter how much fiddling is done with settings on the user side.
- Absolutely fantastic, can use between PC, Phone, XBox One. Great sound quality, very simple to use, and great features with the XBox one.
- Very high quality pair of headphones, They work great for both my Xbox and PC, overall great headset, haven't encountered any issues
- Good headset, not a hardcore gamer but this works well for casual gamer like me. I use it for my xbox and for skype/teamspeak on my phone
- It's so weird, it's like the design team couldn't decide what to do, and so out of laziness or sheer stupidity just left a roughly 6 inch chord which anyone has absolutely no need.
- Only three cables for PS4 and two for PC, mic cable included.
- Stream port- I am currently using these to stream on PS4 using an elgato capture card. With a 3.5 mm cable, I connect it to my PC and change the audio input for the elgato software. It records all audio, including party chat and game volume.
- Comes with every cord you could need including optical
- Mix Amp Pro is is another big factor I just learn, you can adjust your gaming/chat and plus side you can press the button said tournaments mode which you can hear incredible sound of foot steps like someone walking around.
- Software is a little confusing
- When attaching a device to the AUX port there is a bit of clicking in the headset.
