They really block out any outside noise with just a volume level of 2 on the computer.
I like hearing what's going on around me so I just where one while the other is a little above my ear. Really block out noise.
I have a wonderful time telling him stories that he doesn't have to listen to, because the noise cancelling works fantastically.
The noise-cancellation is good, but as soon as I take them off my head to hear them my colleagues hear loud music.
You will get background noise, regardless of if the sound source is playing or not.

My impression of them is that they're really comfy and they really block out any outside noise.
The noise cancelling works really well. Like it.
Although I've experienced better noise cancellation, it's great if there's not an enormous amount of sharp noise in the room.
I recommend it. Excellent ambient noise cancellation.
There is quite a bit of background noise, the recording program has no background sound cancelling.

The sound quality was crisp, clear and immersive.
Their sound is excellent for watching movies, gaming, and having chats in Ventrilo or TeamSpeak.
The sound on this set is pretty phenomenal.
Crisp highs, good bass. If you want more bass, you're going to probably have to shell out extra hundreds.
I'm a gamer, not an audiophile, so it's good enough.

The difference in sound quality is amazing!
I think the sound quality, especially for music, very good.
The sound quality is outstanding and it is by far the most comfortable headset I have ever owned.
The large drivers provide crisp clean sound through out the listening range.
Everything sounded like I was in a cave. Voices in movies echoed and were hard to comprehend no matter how I adjusted it.

I'm also told the mic is crystal clear when talking to people through skype or ventrilo.
The mic is pretty good. Sound is fantastic.
Very loud headset. Mic picks up crystal clear.
Mic sounds good and titanfall and league of legends come across well on the large speakers.
The sound is wonderful, the mic is clear, and I especially like that I can just turn the mic upwards and the mic automatically mutes.

Mic quality is better than desktop mics.
They're honestly just great headphones with a great mic.
The mic is very clear for making Skype calls or in game team mate audio.
Mic is just ok its not terrible for gaming but I would not use it to record for videos.
My only complaint is that the mic doesn't work that well.

The surround sound features are nice for gaming.
Battery life is great. They last almost as long as advertised.
I have feedback enabled on my PC, and a nice little feature is that when the mic is up, the feedback is automatically turned off.
Great battery life. It usually gets 6-8 hours of streaming music.
The feature where putting the mic up causes it to shut off is kind of annoying as the angle it shuts off is too close to 90degees.

A nice feature was installing a blue LED so you can see the separation between the three buttons.
These are really nice gaming headphones, offering all the features that most players will want.
The cable is a flexible, cloth-covered design that should stand up to even the hardest abuse by kids and teenagers.
The earphones are very comfortable, covered with a soft fleece-like material that easily fits over even large ears.
Mic can be folded up or adjusted easily, and it seems moderately durable.
