- The Excalibur has certainly lived up to its name. It's a beast! 9 trays, a superpowered fan, with low noise- can't complain!! Have dried hops and several fruits with no issues. Would recommend.
- I love this thing!! It is pretty loud, so watch out for that. But very powerful!
- Nice trays is really a TON of space. I can fit 4 bananas, 1lb of jerky, or 6 kiwis to a tray
- The timer and the wide range of temperature settings make this model worth the price.
- For our use it was necessary to be able to control temperature and time and this model, made in USA, BTW, does it all.
- The black plastic trays are hard for me to clean because I don't have a dishwasher and they are just a hair bigger than my sink.
- I have used it less than 10 times since buying it. Now the fan has pooped. out.

- I like the built in thermostat, and I like the way the trays are nice and square.
- Very easy to use and lots of tray space. The thermostat is the most important part for food safety, and with the heatwave technology they use it keeps meat somewhat tender as it dries.
- The thermostat range is 95° to 165° F. Nice little unit. Works very well.
- Thermostat is severely out of calibration. Checked with precision thermocouple.
- This model does not include a timer, only thermostat.

- Great design.....thermostat...timer....fan in the back.....all the things you need to do it right and do it easily.

- The timer is also nice, especially when you'd rather continue to sleep at 3am instead of get up and turn the dehydrator off.

- The only thing I don't like is the analog temperature controller. It has the degrees and recommendations posted, but I found it to be off by around ten degrees.
- This works well but the control panel is surprisingly very poorly printed. The printed instructions are ambiguous, contrary and very confusing.

- The auto-shut off functionality is great.
- I can put the food on and leave for work or play - the machine shuts off automatically when the timer is done.
- The trays can go in the top drawer of the dishwasher, its easy to clean.
- The timer is a great feature. Set it and go to bed. It shuts off automatically and your drying is done.
- Sure, the shelves are bpa free, but the rest of the inside structure I found out isn't.
- The element starts to heat up then after about ten seconds, shuts off.
