Pretty perky, it's likely a 5400RPM drive in there and I was getting sustained rates in the 95MB/s range as I copied over my 2TB of data via USB3.1 to my desktop PC. No complaints yet.
Pretty good. But just wish the disk spinning was smoother. Though performance is OK.
This drive is fast, quiet and built solid as a rock.
I really like the 1TB capacity. And I really like that it's powered by its USB cable.
I'm using this hard drive for my channel 4K decoder. Recognized right away, it works wonderfully and did not pose any problems.

From opening box, took a few minutes to install and begin copying and all photos and music files (about 150gb) were copied to the Toshiba unit in less than 2 hours.
This product is perfect, it's a decent price, good quality, easy to set up and use and exactly what I needed - it's very fast (USB3) and handy for backups
When connected to a PC it works as fast as any other USB 3.0 HDD I have.
I still have a long way to go to fill it with my photos, documents and graphic plus illustration files. Very pleased. Just plug in and Go!
Quiet in operation, quick to copy when using USB 3.0 and so far, no problems.

Good price. 3.0 USB and USB-C connection! The HD performance is excellent and does not require AC current.
Nice hard drive so far, I haven't gotten any issues.
Very easy to format for Windows and/or Mac OS 10.0 and earlier version.
This product is supposed to be easy to set up w/a MAC OS and it’s the most difficult setup I have seen in a backup hard drive.
Windows 10 does not recognize this portable hard drive. Item was returned.
