- On a positive side, it has enough power for almost anything and is built strong.
- I purchased this drill as a gift for my husband back in 2012 and he was very excited to be surprised with a powerful drill to use for household projects. He had a cheaper brand previously that he used for projects but it never had enough power and jobs took much longer than they do now.
- It has power to spare, keyless chuck, quick change features and variable speed via the trigger pull. Going cordless is like getting your first air conditioner, you'll never go back.
- I wish the drill had a little bit more power and simplified instructions, but with the various speed and reverse rotation settings and two batteries and a carrying bag at this price my home improvement mentors all approved.
- The only think I would ask for if I could is a third speed setting that is slower, but the trigger can allow for a slow drive once used to it.
- I am very impressed with this Dewalt, as a good general-purpose drill. It feels solid and has both good torque and good speed, between the two settings.
- The clutch is adjustable and also has a "fixed" position to obtain full torque. Though not as large or heavy duty as the red colored brand, this drill has never failed to provide me the torque needed to do what I had to do with it.
- At first I was very impressed, the torque and performance was very good and the battery seemed to last a long time, much better than the old Bosche cordless drill I had for many years.
- Seems to be a very good drill - fairly light weight with plenty of torque. Battery recharge time is good.
- At 300 UWO, that puts this drill at about 373in/lbs in the low speed setting - not the best, but not bad.
- I have a 3/8" cordless drill that is lighter & easier to handle but this is more powerful for those heavy duty jobs.
- Excellent, light weight and powerful. We use these in a production environment and haven't smoked one yet.
- Balance and weight is pretty decent and shouldn't give you carpal tunnel after a days use.
- The drill is simple to use and powerful as well, with a nice amount of weight to it.
- However on the other side is that tool weight has become a bit of a problem as my physical capabilities have rapidly declined.
- It's extremely small and lightweight, probably half of the weight I'm used to holding with normal NiCad battery drills.
- I like the lighter weight this has compared to others.
- Given the light weight of the battery, the drill does seem a shade top heavy but it's easy to get used to.
- This drill also is substantial, just the right weight not too heavy, but heavy enough to have the power.
- The weight of the tool is not heavy and the battery life, so far, has been as expected. Very easy to operate.
- The batteries are very long lasting and recharge quickly.
- The battery power lasts nearly all day without recharging.
- I like that it has an adjustable setting so that my screws don't get too tight. the carrying bag wil 'barely' fit both batteries and the drill, and no way will it fit the charger too
- One of the best feature that this tool exibits is the tork it will produce through all clutch settings, as well as the ease of changing bits or driver heads.
- The variable speed trigger switch is cheaply made. A heavy load on the drill will burn the switch and convert it to an ON/OFF switch, or worse. Still a great drill for normal usage.
- Two batteries, solid construction, and an LED light make for a real nice drill. The simplicity in attaching a bit is helpful and the ability to accurately adjust the speed of the drill is helpful when you're trying to get it juuust right.
- One feature I like is the light (the one bell and/or whistle this drill has). I've had other drills with lights - that's nothing new.
- Great product at a bargain price. Plenty of power, solid construction and good battery life. It comes with 2 batteries which is an important feature.
- In addition to having great balance and plenty of power, one feature I really like is that the work light stays on for 20 seconds after the trigger is released.
- Does not have driver-bit holder on drill, this would be a handy feature. I would definitely buy this again.
