The Bosch 11255VSR 1 In. SDS-plus® Bulldog™ Xtreme Rotary Hammer is a versatile, handy tool that features a robust 8.0-amp motor. From anchoring to large material breaking, it gets the job done right the first time. Engineered in the tradition of legendary Bulldogs, this powerful hammer delivers 2.0 Ft.-Lbs. of impact energy and 0-5,800 no-load bpm, but it weighs just 6.7 Lbs. The multifunction mode selector allows users to easily select among three modes of operation: rotary hammer, rotation only and hammer only. To optimize the chiseling angle, it has Vario-Lock positioning that rotates and locks the chisel in one of 36 different positions. It is Bosch’s PRO+GUARD™ dust system, helping users move toward OSHA Silica Table 1 dust compliance. The hammer is designed with an ergonomic D-handle for comfort. It features a variable-speed reversing trigger for accurate bit starting, and a Bosch-exclusive rotating brush plate, for equal power in forward and reverse. I bought this because I had a large kitchen and hallway ceramic floor I need to demo. It did what it was supposed to do. Made my a job I was dreading turn into a rather easy day.
I purchased this to aid me in my renovations and I wasn't dissapointed. This hammer drill performed great and made short work of drilling into concrete.
I bought this in a pinch, and I intended to break it before my job was complete.... 4 12000ft floors using this to hammer up tile, drill for conduit, and yes it was pushed hard enough that i had to go get insulated gloves due to the heat.
I highly reccomend this hammer drill to anyone who needs a reliable strong Badass Bulldog..
This is a really useful tool for renovations that I can use not only for drilling holes but also chipping concrete in small areas.

Overall it is a very lightweight tool and easy to use without fatigue.
I don't use my hammer drill often, but when I do, it drills through concrete like butter! Very well built, easy to use.
Its easy to use, lightweight, and affordable. it breaks grout lines to remove hollow tile and rocks very easily

I used a SDS plus 1/2" long drill bit and drilled every 1/2" along the 25ft wall and then came back again horizontally to create a breaking point.
The drill has loads of power and vibration is much less than other brands I have tried. Great product, I would buy it again.
The Bosch has more power and endurance and the D handle is more confortable :you have a better control when you are using a chisel.I would recommand this tool to any serious DIY.
Loved the variety of settings. Drill, hammer drill, or just hammer. Allowed me to buy the SDS drill chuck so I could use this with my hole saws or larger gauge wood and metal drills. Fantastic product with tons of power.
The chisel in hammer mode chipped away the rough concrete and again with ease. Very impressed with the hammer drill part that i could drill hole with the Bosch drill bit with no effort on my part and straight holes too.
