- I also can notice a significant difference in sound quality from my old double din to this one. Really makes your car sound a lot better.
- This is a Great Radio. Apple car play is awesome. Sounds awesome. I liked it so much I put one in the Wife's car. My Son liked it so much we put one in his 2000 Chevy truck.
- Happy I went with the 5200 navy works great and not annoying at all very fast operation sounds great and the screen responds quickly picture is amazing!
- Perfect little unit for my Acadia. The wife loves it. And with the Idatalink Maestro adapters and can bus computer, it was a breeze to install.
- Great head unit love works great love it sounds fantastic an has lost of power.......
- After installing JBL speakers in my Ranger, I had BB install this radio and a JBL sub/amp. The sound is much improved, and the radio itself is quick to come alive, the menu setup is intuitive and the touch screen is quick and responsive.
- Excellent head unit with Apple Car Play capability. Powerful output - great sound.
- everything is smooth, and the musiq tunning features is awesome. i switch from a x2700bt and musiq has more power now, much cleaner.
- The bluetooth is now solidly reliable (it never worked well in my stock HU), the sound quality and power is worlds ahead of what it replaced, and the feature set is amazing.
- Display quality: sharp, bright.
- Screen is small: I honestly wish I would've gone with 4200NEX/4800BS instead and just used my phone for navigation.
- Screen is not as responsive: yes, 5200NEX has a very good screen, but it is far from iPhone touch screen sensitivity.
- The unit is laggy and not as responsive as it should be. In cold weather, the touchscreen is sometimes not responsive. The touch interface could be better as well.
- The screen has better (larger) graphics which makes it easier to use than my previous unit.
- Love the 7 inch screen. Very user friendly. Sounds great.
- It has a great video screen boosts any system you may have drastically
- Got this as a replacement for my OEM radio. Love the large screen Apple CarPlay makes things so much easier
- the only negative of this product is the screen could be a little brighter.
- Sound quality: excellent. To me it sounds better than many most "premium" Bose/JBL systems you find in cars these days. There are many adjustment options, such as EQ, timing alignment, every speaker can be adjusted for volume separately, including subwoofer
- This dramatically improved the overall sound inside the vehicle. Installed in 2010 JKU with infinity system.
- It sounds good though and there are many options to dial in great sound. For the money, it could be better.
- Sound quality is amazing and can be tuned to any type of music with the built-in equalizer and crossover.
- Definitly worth the money sound quality and performance are awesome
- This stereo has great sound and is very easy to use. Apple play is great.
- This unit is awesome! The sound quality is outstanding and it has a ton features! The apple play support is okay. I fully recommend this product.
- It was what i needed for my Jeep Wangler, sound is better than the factory radio
- Fantastic radio, I didn't realize the things it did !! Its amazing .
- Terrible glitches: if you have long DJ mixes or recorded radio shows 1-2 hours long (I do have many of them), 5200nex will start playing from the beginning after you restart your engine, make/take phone call via bluetooth. This is extremely annoying.
- Being a Pioneer the tuner is also very good switching seamlessly from digital to analog for those fringe stations
- It also doesn’t default to a preset station but instead goes to one that wasn’t set previously. But being able to present stations in other cities with the multiple fm options is great.
- Great Car Radio, looks and sounds great with the HD Radio. It's nice seeing the Album Cover Art when the radio station sends the data.
- SirisXM ready, HD FM as avaialbe in your area and of course the interface to your iPhone, bluetooth for music and phone, USB interface for the other features, messaging, Siri, maps, etc.
- ATL has a large number of radio stations and I like having 18 FM presets.
- iDatalink Maestro: I am happy that I can adjust many settings that were supposed to be used with OBDII scanner tool, such as door lock/unlock sequence, headlight timer and auto headlight sensitivity etc.
- It has GPS, 2 USB ports, video output, separate sub/4 channel 4-volt RCA's.
- Boot time: around 15 seconds, even faster if you were listening to FM station instead of USB flash drive.
- Exit signs on GPS screen: it is a neat feature that I do not have on my iPhone HERE app. It displays exit signs just as they look in real life.
- GPS boot time: horrible! It takes around 1-2 minutes to load/start your map. UI also looks cheesy/outdated compared to HERE maps on my iPhone. Map also lags when zooming in and out. I will just keep using my iPhone HERE app.
- Rearview camera does not work when in reverse: I have no idea what is wrong, I can turn it on manually from the unit, but it would not turn on when I use reverse gear.
- Awesome radio that allows me to see my maps on the screen without paying for navigation. Just by connecting my phone.
- The radio has alot of functions and is compatible with both android and apple.
- This radio is fantastic! On screen controls, even came with a little remote. It uses my iPhone settings and Siri for music and the GPS for mPs so it's all very compact.
- It takes some getting used to, but is very intuitive and the Apple CarPlay is the best!! Looks great too and fits perfectly in the dash!!
- It's nice to use with carplay on my iPhone. Probably the only downfall is how long it takes to boot up when you start the car.
