- Amazing video quality, it can be controlled wirelessly, stabilization is awesome and very good flexibility.
- Good camera the 4k quality is clear, it stabilize your recording and does 360%.
- Great idea for a camera. The quality of video and pictures is great. The stabilization is as described.
- Its 4K capabilities impressed me a lot and the stabilized gimbal never had any issues. I use this to shoot commercials for clients when I need smooths shots and it works flawlessly.
- The lens has a noticeable amount of fisheye distortion up close. The X3 camera also has a very flat depth of field making the footage less interesting than I hoped.
- Great camera...perfect stability and very good but not not great image.
- Stabilization. At first I was only neutral on this as I did see noticeable movement while doing the walking tours. Then I learned about flashlight mode (holding the Osmo as you would a flashlight) and that was a game changer. Smooth video almost every time.
- The product itself is completely amazing the video quality and stabilization is unmatched.
- The Osmo+ can shoot stabilized "motion timelapse" video, which is absolutely amazing for a camera of this price and to my knowledge no other comparable stabilized action camera can do this, including the original Osmo.
- The camera can also be removed from the gimbal and attached to any compatible UAV for aerial shots.
- Biggest issue I have is being able to judge focus. The low quality image that's sent to your phone is so bad, it's impossible to tell what's in or out of focus.
- Small and compact! LIghtweight and doesn't hurt your arm.
- Light weight. Easy to use.
- It's small, lightweight and easy to carry and travell with it.
- Size. Going from the Canon rig to this has been incredible. So small and easy to transport. Lightweight so I could shoot for hours.
- Its manageable; my DSLR setup runs 6-7lbs - this is a breeze to work with.
- It's not heavy and bulky! Easy to transport, to walk with or tavell.
- Quality build. Except for the replaceable UV filter in front of the lens, the mechanical aspects of this unit are all solid. The phone mount is a he-man-engineering work of art.
- Plastic feels cheap. it’s worth the tradeoff for weight, i suppose.
- Has manual camera settings for those of us who know how to set the camera for what we want and What looks best.
- Is compatible to work with the X5 Camera which has much better quality
- Has the option to use an external microphone.
- Has features that allow other utilities and parts to be integrated (as needed).
- Not great in low light (but what do you want for the price).
- Requires a Mobile Phone or tablet device to use (And really needs a newer model so processing can keep up) with live view.
- The internal microphone is horrible (But the port to plug in the extra is fantastic!!)
- Video Quality. It shoots in 4K and that's amazing. Crisp, clean, and smooth as long as the lighting is right (see cons below). Matches perfectly with our Phantom footage. Looks beautiful once edited on Facebook and Youtube.
- Daylight Quality. When shooting in a well-lit area and in daylight the Osmo+ does a fantastic job.
- On-camera mic is worthless. If you need sound in your video don't even consider it.
- The time-lapse, long-exposure, pano, and interval shooting options are fantastic - very easy to use/access.
- Battery Life. It sucks. We go through about four fully charged batteries for most of our shoots. On average I think we only get maybe 30 minutes of continuous shoot time from each battery.
- The batteries are not particularly long-lasting
