What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Samson Meteor Mic USB Studio Microphone
- The mic has some weight to it and feels very sturdy, it is small enough and easy to carry with the included bag.
- And i think the size of the condenser mic is one of the biggest ones you can find for PC.
- The size is great. It is a lot smaller than the snowball and can fit easily on my desk with multiple other peripherals.
- The metal feels very sturdy, and has a nice weight to it. Everything really gives the impression of high quality.
- Wonderful sound and great weight. I am working on speech therapy and this is a wonderful tool to have.
Blue Snowball Ice Condenser Microphone
- The weight was great, the build seemed sound and the design was outstanding.
- THis mic is shaped like a softball. It's big and round and made out of metal. you can feel the weight. I love this mic
- Trust me it is built very well and has that weight to it
- Product has some weight to it and feels like quality as well.
- I really hate the weight. It's soooooo heavy for a mic. Like seriously, I mounted it and it always makes the stand almost fall over. Silly.

What customers say about "Features"
Samson Meteor Mic USB Studio Microphone
- The Samson Meteor Mic is a USB condenser microphone with a large diaphragm and a cardioid pickup pattern.
- Great cardioid microphone, especially for voiceovers.
- Great frequency response. Sharp, clean sound and easy to use. Excellent from any direction and professional results. No hassle set up for my computer. Very pleased with the purchase.
- It also has a relatively flat frequency response, which is good, but only records CD quality audio, which could be better. However, for the price, the audio quality you get is great.
- The audio is clear, crisp, and has a great frequency response.
- The only thing I would complain about is the fact that with this microphone you're stuck with cardioid.
- The amount of noise in the background is a bit disappointing, there's very little noise cancellation if any. My computer isn't far from me and it's rather large, so getting the sound of computer fans out of my recordings require a little post modulation.
Blue Snowball Ice Condenser Microphone
- The stand seems a little weak, But with the rubber at the end of the legs it works perfectly fine!
- The usb wire is of very good quality and I don't expect any wear and tear for these guyz
- Such an excellent usb mic picks up sound beautifully with no static at max volume settings picks up sound frome a distance
- Comes with a nice stand that you can utilize, stands great on my desk and doesn't fall over if you don't hit it.
- You can add many additions to the microphone such as a shock mount, pop filter and/or hood with ease.
- The red LED. It looks terrible and is very intrusive. Yes, it lets me know that it's on.
- It doesn't have the three settings that the Blue Snowball non-iCE has, instead only having the one setting that is most often used, the cardioid.
- Only has Cardioid mode versus the non-ICE version which has three mode. No XLR output so you won't be taking this into a proper studio
