- And i think the size of the condenser mic is one of the biggest ones you can find for PC.

- The Samson Meteor Mic is a USB condenser microphone with a large diaphragm and a cardioid pickup pattern.
- Great cardioid microphone, especially for voiceovers.
- Great frequency response. Sharp, clean sound and easy to use. Excellent from any direction and professional results. No hassle set up for my computer. Very pleased with the purchase.
- It also has a relatively flat frequency response, which is good, but only records CD quality audio, which could be better. However, for the price, the audio quality you get is great.
- The audio is clear, crisp, and has a great frequency response.
- The only thing I would complain about is the fact that with this microphone you're stuck with cardioid.
- The amount of noise in the background is a bit disappointing, there's very little noise cancellation if any. My computer isn't far from me and it's rather large, so getting the sound of computer fans out of my recordings require a little post modulation.
- Simple to use and records great sound. I use it to record podcasts and the multiple recording patterns are a godsend. I love this mic.
- There are manual switches for both gain and recording patterns - stereo, omni, cardioid, and bi-directional.
- It’s a very sensitive microphone, it picks up a lot of low and mid frequencies.
- It also features a 3.5mm standard audio jack port which allows you to plug in earphones to get real time monitoring. I really like it.
- Amount of background noise and static detracts from what should be professional quality.
