What customers say about "Size & Weight"
CAD U37 USB Studio Condenser Recording Microphone
- The sound quality is nice, and I love that it comes with a compact stand.
- Excellent size. When set on a table it's at just about the perfect height for recording
- The size is very good. It has the "feel" of a much more expensive microphone, and the silver color it just fine.
- Wish it were smaller, more compact, but that I can live with it.
- The size is much more bulky and big than it has to be.
- I was slightly disappointed in the weight of the mic. It felt like cheap plastic and to me that means - it will not sound as good.
Blue Snowball-1 Ice USB Microphone - White
- I am very impressed with sound quality. The size is great, setup was easy. A great tool!
- The mic by itself is about the same size as a softball.
- This thing is massive in size and comes with its own stand.
- I was also impressed by the size of the Snowball. When looking at it online, I was thinking baseball size.
- The biggest flaw is that the weight of the mic is too heavy for the quality of the stand, which results in the mic tipping over when adjusting the legs or trying to position the sizable, inflexible USB cable.

What customers say about "Features"
CAD U37 USB Studio Condenser Recording Microphone
- The cardioid design does a great job and eliminating background noise.
- Great cardioid mic for a very reasonable price. Super sensitive. If you don't know how to turn off Automatic Gain Control, make sure you find out so you get the best sound.
- The bottom switch allows you to cut the bass frequency the mic picks up, which is useful if you are recording certain instruments or voices.
- This is my first microphone and it performed exactly as described. It's easy to use and assemble and I think the sound it recorded was more than acceptable. It is plug and play and windows 10 had no problem discoverying the microphone.
- It's super easy to setup and I've used it on mac, windows, and linux systems. I highly recommend this with the foam cover - worth it! Creates a good radio sound and voice.
- Lastly, there's no power button, to turn it off or on and it has this annoying blue light that blinks off and on nonstop.
Blue Snowball-1 Ice USB Microphone - White
- This mic sounds pretty flat to me which is great for instruments and vocals.
- What's great also is the frequency response is flat or flatter than other mics. What that means is that, the mic isn't shaping your voice too much. What you hear is what you sounded like.
- Windows 7 recognized the microphone instantly and installed appropriate drivers.
- Easy plug and play. You plug it into a PC or Mac, and it's good to go right away.
- This mike does not feature noise reduction but the cardioid pattern is satisfactory to reduce feedback.
- It records High Frequencies too much which makes it a pain to EQ and compress vocals for that quality sound in music.
