What customers say about "Key Specs"
Moultrie M-888 (MCG-13067) Mini Game Camera, Mossy Oak Bottomland
  • I've used two of these for about a year now. Love them. Pictures are very, very good
  • Great trail camera, the clarity is real nice, video too!
  • The quality of the photos and videos are excellent
  • Good quality photos, good range, good day and night quality.
  • Awesome trail camera! Functions as intended. Love the fast shutter speed.
Moultrie M-888i (MCG-13068) Mini Game Camera, Mossy Oak Bottomland
  • At 14MP the images it captures are phenomenal.
  • This is a great device, I would highly recommend it, and I hope to have it (them) up and running for some time to come.
  • This is my third Moultrie camera and I highly recommend Moultrie overall based on my earlier models. I still have my M-880 running like a champ after all these years.
  • The motion sensor has a range of 50 feet, which is actually farther than I need, since I don't generally put my cameras that far from trails, water, etc. The flash has an exceptional range of 70 feet.
  • Far detection. Great picture quality. Wide range of detection.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Moultrie M-888 (MCG-13067) Mini Game Camera, Mossy Oak Bottomland
  • Pictures save to an SD card which you can either plug direclty into your computer if you have the right port or adapter, or you can connect via USB.
  • To download the pictures to your computer, you will need a micro usb b to standard usb cord or a card reader.
  • You can either pull the stick so you can plug it into your computer and access the images, or take the whole camera, use a USB cable, and do the same thing.
  • It's easy to open, to get access to the battery and settings compartment, and your memory stick.
Moultrie M-888i (MCG-13068) Mini Game Camera, Mossy Oak Bottomland
  • It's easy to change memory cards and batteries without having to remove the entire unit off of the tree it is mounted to.
  • The camera takes up to a 32GB card, and I'd suggest you get one, as the images are rather large.
  • This one has a little USB port on it that can be used for offloading the photos and stuff. I would be great if you could also edit the camera settings and image layout while the camera is connect to a computer/tablet/chromebook/..
  • The micro-USB connector is a nice, but perhaps a bit of overkill (I do understand that some laptops and most tablets do not have SD card slots so the micro-USB port allows for a non-SD card connection).
  • My only complaint is, as with many other brands, that you cannot secure it, or the SD cards, from human predation without some sort of heavy duty

What customers say about "Features"
Moultrie M-888 (MCG-13067) Mini Game Camera, Mossy Oak Bottomland
  • Lots of flexibility to set photo lag time, bursts, etc, and/or video.
  • This also offers several modes to record shots when the motion sensor triggers; multi-shot, time-lapse, and a hybrid of both.
  • There are many different kinds of shots you can do, time lapse, video, motion sensor, etc, which you can select in manual mode.
  • You can set the camera to either timelapse or motion detect. The camera does the rest.
  • It's durable and looks weather resistant.
Moultrie M-888i (MCG-13068) Mini Game Camera, Mossy Oak Bottomland
  • This game camera is easy to operate and provides you with detailed images at a great price.
  • The camera has a small and unobtrusive profile and attaches easily to any upright post with the provided strap, or there is a tripod mount. It gives the impression of being solidly built with a latched cover which effectively seals the programming panel from the weather.
  • I sometimes want to mount a camera in our front yard both for security reasons, and to monitor which animals are destroying plants or grass there. As the M-888i has invisible lights it won't attract people, and may keep the camera from being stolen.
  • The colors in daylight images can appear slightly warm under some lighting conditions but are realistic. The infrared images are very clear for that type of illumination.
  • Overall, while I liked the images it took, I wish it had a heavy cable you could buy for mounting the camera, as cameras have a tendency of "walking away" sometime.

What customers say about "Power"
Moultrie M-888 (MCG-13067) Mini Game Camera, Mossy Oak Bottomland
  • Batteries last for months depending on how active the camera site is.
  • The unit is very compact, and battery life for the eight AA batteries required is excellent.
  • It takes a pile of batteries, but has been going strong for a month without any signs of running out of juice.
  • The camera takes 8 AA batteries, and lasts a long time.
  • I would venture as to say they batteries will last 2-3 weeks depending on conditions.
Moultrie M-888i (MCG-13068) Mini Game Camera, Mossy Oak Bottomland
  • I haven't had the latest 2 of these up long enough to tell if they will outlive their predecessors, but I can say that the battery life is excellent, setup is a breeze, and they appear to seal out the elements very well.
  • Takes great pictures. Not sure about battery life.
  • Bought Energizer lithium batteries and lowered sensitivity a bit and voila...batteries last,no more wind/branch activation and I'm getting the info I need. Like the invisible IR. Makes perfect sense.
  • It does take a lot of batteries. I've learned to turn camera on only when I'm not going to be home for awhile.
  • Battery life horrible! Would not recommend this product.
