- Works really well. Good quality pictures in the day and night.
- The IR diodes used in this camera don't have any red output at all, and the LED array is powerful enough to illuminate animals 80 feet away.
- The Moultrie images rival that of high-end point and shoot digital cameras for both daytime color and nighttime IR flash.
- I have 4 or 5 other trail cameras and this camera has the sharpest daylight or nighttime photos.
- Moultrie has become my favorite trail cam. The picture quality (night and day) is great.
- The M40i gives wonderful pics. I have triggered well over 60 feet, and longest just over 80. The pics are far better in quality.
- The photos are good enough that I sometimes get them printed for friends after they have visited me.
- Photos are the best of four cameras that I own (all different brands), and setup is easy.
- Once you get it set up the camera works very well. The picture and video quality is excellent.
- Videos are clear so are pictures, day and night works fantastic.
- They can use up to 32 GB SD cards which is very convenient when you only get to check every few weeks.
- Programming the camera to your custom settings take a little bit of work but once done works well.
- Paired this with the Moultrie modem and solar panel for tracking deer. Great way to monitor an area remotely without having to disturb it by pulling the SD cards.
- It works great with moultrie modem.
- I paired it with the modem and love getting my pictures sent to me on my phone!
- It is easy to change the settings remotely through the Moultrie Mobile app.
- It's easy to program, set the time, etc. You don't even need the manual it's so simple.

- Really like the timelapse as you can make great movies on movie maker.
- The best feature of this camera, compared to older units, is the response time.
- Waterproofing seems more than adequate - I had it set up in my yard through a day of thunderstorms with no sign of leakage.
- It has survived a blizzard and several NOREASTERS with no signs of damage.
- I was concerned about the impact of the hot Texas sun. There are times where the temps are 105+ and the camera is still functions great.
- The night vision camera is so clear it's like during the day. Even in the rain.
- The front door has a weather-proof gasket. Display is a backlit two line LCD, with an easy to use button configuration.
- The camera spent several weeks out in the elements and it had no leaks inside when I checked the camera card.
- Battery life seems to be very good with at least 1000 shots per set of batteries in my application.
- The batteries last thousands of pictures, and some I have gotten two seasons on the same set.
- Battery life seems to be pretty good thus far after a few weeks.
- These cameras out perform cameras costing much more. Battery life is very good.
- Battery life is excellent, I've been running them for a month (motion detection only, 30 second videos) and battery life is still at like 80%.
- Most other cameras I've used have perhaps a two month battery life here. This camera has survived, rain, snow and bugs for a year now.
