What customers say about "Key Specs"
Stamina ATS Air Rower 1399 Rowing Machine
- The rower also has an inclined seat rail which helps add some additional resistance while also creating a smoother rowing stroke.
- The resistance is excellent. There is no damper to control the air flow but as with all air rowers, you can increase the resistance by rowing harder.
- The harder you pull, the more resistance. You can start out slowly to warm up and then increase speed with your legs, back, and arm.
- Resistance settings are challenging enough to tone a variety of muscle groups and provide an effective cardio workout.
- I have to row faster to increase the resistance because the machine don't have setting for resistance.
Stamina 1402 ATS Air Rower
- It is a solid build and provides great resistance.
- It provides decent resistance, and yes it makes a whooshing sound with each stroke, it's not so obnoxious.
- I like how the resistance gets higher the faster you row.
- Two months later, noise began to increase while working in the flywheel.
- With each workout, the resistance weakens. I have to pull harder to increase it.

What customers say about "Design"
Stamina ATS Air Rower 1399 Rowing Machine
- Easy to roll away into a different room or closet when not using it.
- Very easy to assemble and put into storage configuration.
- Folding design reduces the space required when not in use.
- I like velcro foot straps which hold your feet securely while rowing.
- Seat is pretty small if you have a big butt, I had to modify and put a plank.
Stamina 1402 ATS Air Rower
- Folding mechanism is a bit clunky but makes all the difference for easy storage.
- It doesn’t take up much space when folded up. The wheels don’t move so easily on carpet.
- The seat is very comfortable, easy to use and it is a fun well.
- The seat squeaks. It's not terribly loud, but it's enough to drive you a little crazy.
- The only problem I had was with the position of the pedals. They are mounted too high.

What customers say about "Features"
Stamina ATS Air Rower 1399 Rowing Machine
- Wind-resistance rowing machine with multi-function performance monitor.
- Rubber grips on bottom have good traction and stay firm to my wooden floor.
- Resistance is supplied by a fan and despite what other state, it is definitely not loud. Sure - you are running a fan so there is some air noise, but it is absolutely nothing to get excited about.
- This rower is way too loud. Even with wireless bluetooth headphones cranked pretty loudly, it's still hard to hear music.
- You can forget about casually watching a movie or TV while rowing on this machine because the rower is unbearably loud.
Stamina 1402 ATS Air Rower
- The computer is average, but I have found usage for all of the metrics in my workouts, so to me it's adequately useful.
- After your workout, the rower stands on end for storage.
- Has a convenient display for reading and tracking indicators.
- The display is in an awkward spot that makes it harder to see or switch functions while rowing.
- The display doesn't seem to be counting right. It isn't displaying the timer.
