What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Klipsch R-112SW Subwoofer, Black
- This subwoofer definitely rattles my medium-size room and is without a doubt, the BIG DAWG of my 7.1 system and so for me, definitely worth the price.
- This is a large-ish sub, but I wouldn't characterize it as a monster. It didn't seem unduly heavy, nor did it take up much more room than the 10" Infinity it replaced.
- The wife was scared of the size but now agrees that it for movies and music it is great .
- It is large, but actually compact, considering its output and the kind of company it keeps.
- Very nice sound for movies. This a large heavy subwoofer that is pretty cumbersome though.
SVS PB-1000 300 Watt DSP Controlled 10" Ported Subwoofer (Black Ash)
- Great medium sized sub for a small room
- Powerful and smooth. Rather large but I have enjoyed it very much.
- Check the specs to make sure its physical size won't dominate your room
- Really, its huge. The sound quality is very crisp, but the size really limited the placement options in my room.

What customers say about "Audio"
Klipsch R-112SW Subwoofer, Black
- This is ported in the front, and has 600 max watts. This subwoofer FILLS my living room with RICH, HEAVY, and PHENOMENAL bass.
- I'm so impressed with the quality of this subwoofer, and in the quality and volume of bass it creates.
- Hands down, I'm ecstatic about this subwoofer. Don't think twice, buy this subwoofer. You'll be happy you did, trust me! Huge bass!
- I'm really liking this sub so far. Really clean tight sounding base. I've had several subs over the years but this is much better.
- I've only had this for one day, so far so very very good. Looks and sounds great.
SVS PB-1000 300 Watt DSP Controlled 10" Ported Subwoofer (Black Ash)
- It delivers as much low frequency punch as I will ever need in my (1,500 cubic-foot) home theater room, and the detail is superb.
- Nice detailed sound for a ported woofer and is very powerful. Perfect for a small to mid size theater.
- The lower frequencies never sounded more natural in my 25X50 living room, and yes, powerful enough to be felt when called for
- The low frequencies from it just did not cut it, I hate to say it but the lowly BIC actually did sound better and fuller.
- Not the most powerful sub out there but for the budget it's really impressive.

What customers say about "Features"
Klipsch R-112SW Subwoofer, Black
- The setup is undramatic, if you've dealt with subs before. Gain, crossover, phase, on/off...neither more or less difficult than expected.
- The driver has a serious look - a thick rubber surround, a metallic cone, and a large slot-vent.
- Fit and finish is awesome. I personally really like the wrap on this sub. It looks and feels like brushed aluminum.
- With the powerful 300W amplifier, I only had to set the gain halfway (50%) in order to match my Polk RTi A9 front tower speakers.
- This sub looks beautiful and it's way more powerful than the rear-ported R-12SW / R-120SW.
SVS PB-1000 300 Watt DSP Controlled 10" Ported Subwoofer (Black Ash)
- The finish is beautiful! Well constructed and will look great anywhere.
- For $500, I don't think you will find a sub-woofer with all the features this one offers. Take a look and see for yourself. This was more money that I had originally budgeted, but I am sooo happy that I went with SVS!

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Klipsch R-112SW Subwoofer, Black
- This thing is a massive beast. Pair these up with any hi fidelity system and the bass will blow you away!!
- This SW perfectly complements my new RP-450C center, RP-240S surround sound, RP-140SA rear, RP-260F floor speakers and Yamaha RX-V779.
- I have them connected to a Marantz SR7010 AVR. The crossover is at about 100hz and I have the gain set to about 1/2 right now......it's amazing!
- The subwoofer is perfectly connected to my speakers, the sound is just a masterpiece!
- Poor grounding. Emits a loud hum even when disconnected from the AVR. It becomes even worse when an audio cable is connected.
