- Good quality, sounds great in home theater, perfect size for a small room
- If you're looking for a quality sub at a good price for a small-medium plus sized room, look no further.
- Great little subwoofer for home theater. Very compact but powerful enough for average room size.
- Great speaker. Nice size and well built.
- Compact subwoofer that you can put in any place and forget about it.
- Great size and weight that allows me to do anything with it. I can rearrange it every day from place to place.
- I am impressed by the size that allows me to put it in my closet and it will look great in it.
- A bulky and heavy sub that will bring you unnecessary trouble.
- The depth is very large because of this, he always sticks out of my closet.
- I've gone so long without having audible dynamic experience to the really low frequencies and after reading the specs on it decided that this one gave me the most bang-for-my-buck.
- Yamaha does it again for quality and value. This sub-woofer fits in perfectly with my Energy Classic speaker set to compliment and round out the bottom end frequencies.
- Great for movies or music with a good low frequency present. Setup was as easy as 1,2,3.
- Great sub! Just be sure your receiver lets you control the frequency ranges passed to the dedicated sub channel.
- Great low-end punch from such a small speaker! I would prefer that this be a little louder, but handles the low-frequencies very well.
- It says 100 watts on here but when you read the back of the sub it says 45 watts. It sounds nice, but isn't as powerful of bass as I expected.
- Clear bass. The subwoofer reproduces what it was given. Sub plays well in games and in movies and in music.
- Sub for small rooms. The fattest plus plays at a low volume.
- It’s a pity that from his amplifier can not be powered speakers.
- My first subwoofer and with such weak power. 40Hz to 90Hz plays everything else 3 times quieter, I had two such subwoofers, I’ll tell you honestly a divorce.
- Buzzed on one note. And that’s it. I didn't like it very much.
- One of the best features is that you can adjust the volume of the unit with a small knob on the back of the unit.
- It also has small led lights green or red to show if the unit is active.
- I think it's a nice sub for the money. The sound quality is full, the bass adjustment in a nice feature. Enjoy the music.
- I gave it four stars rather than five only because it has less features than some more advanced subs. I think it sounds really good.
- My only disappointment has been in the lack of an auto-off feature
- Very convenient volume control and it looks great on the rear panel.
- I like the back volume control for the bass, it set it at the half way point then used my receiver to calibrate the bass amount.
- This speaker is GREAT. It has it's own power switch and volume control for perfect balancing.
- There is no auto power off, the power button itself is inconveniently located, because the device is large, you have to turn it off by touch.
- Unfortunately, it only has a volume control so I can’t set up a sub for me.
- Great base sound and easily connects to the receiver.
- With a simple connection (long wire with RCA plugs at each end), I was up and running in no time.
- This subwoofer lines up great with my yamaha suround sound amplifier
- This sub has only one RCA input on the back and comes with a long RCA cable to connect to an RCA sub out - which is exactly what my Vizio Soundbar had.
- The only issue (doesn't bother me) is that there is only a LFE line in and no auto on/off.
- Subwoofer was easy to set up. Plug the power cord in and connect the audio cable to the subwoofer and to the stereo receiver and everything works.
- I have this sub connected to a Harman Kardon 1510 receiver, and 5 sets of Bose cubes, and seems to be a good addition to an entry level surround system.
- Really sounds great connected to my Kawai ES8 digital piano. The lower bass notes sound almost like an acoustical piano. And the connection is very stable.
- This is a powered sub but only has the Rca connection for a signal.
- I have the problem with a broken RCA cable and not the subwoofer. A piece of it broke off in the connection.
