What customers say about "Size & Weight"
BIC PL-200 II Subwoofer - Gloss Black
- The size also needs to be considered: the thing is massive. If you don't care about scratching the gloss top you could use it as a coffee table.
- This is my first subwoofer and it is perfect. Installation was easy and the size is perfect.
- Great build quality and stellar looks in a compact size. Great fan, highly recommended product.
- The speaker is well built, and feels very solid. It's not as heavy as you might expect, but it doesn't vibrate or rattle at all.
- The size is enormous and the aesthetic is pleasing with the cover on.
BIC America F12 Front Firing Powered Subwoofer
- One awesome sub! I was surprised with its size and weight, but it was a pleasant surprise as this thing pumps out the bass at crazy levels.
- This is a pretty good woofer at nice price, both quality and size/weight wise.
- Build seems quality and has some weight to it.
- It's big and heavy just like it should be!
- Sounds great at normal levels, struggles when you push the volume. The cabinet vibrates and moves on the floor. Needs a little more weight to dampen the movement.

What customers say about "Audio"
BIC PL-200 II Subwoofer - Gloss Black
- Everything works and feels fine. No comment on the amplifier as it is still working hard to keep me happy.
- This front firing sub has a 1000 watt peak 250 watt RMS BASH amplifier. This is excellent performance.
- This sub will easily be on the same quality level of a sub costing twice what I paid. The amplifier never gets real hot to the touch.
- I have very nice deep down bass and low frequency effects without being boomy or muddy.
- I immediately noticed port noise on lower frequencies at relatively low volumes.
BIC America F12 Front Firing Powered Subwoofer
- If your looking for something reasonably priced to add a tremendous amount of clean low frequency presence it will be hard to find a better piece of equipment.
- Powerful bass that will shake the floor, walls and ceiling (ceiling-yes. Vent cover fell out). The amp allows crossover frequency adjustment as well as volume. It does not muffle or distort any sounds unless you have it at max, which is not a good idea.
- It's great for the average living room size if you like to play music and get the full experience of frequency range.
- Sounds great as I expected. Plenty of power!!
- Deep bass, not very controlled though. However, for the price it's a good buy; a good beginner's sub.
- Lots off distortion even at low volume. Crossover set all the way down to 80Hz didn't fix it. I'm going to to assume I got a defective unit and will update after I get a replacement.

What customers say about "Features"
BIC PL-200 II Subwoofer - Gloss Black
- Nice control to eliminate rumble when needed is very good. Unlike other sub reviews I find the the impact to music is excellent and also can be controlled.
- The controls show the PL-200 II flexibility with a variable crossover, phase switching and overall volume knob.
- Great speaker, tons of bass. Controls are easy to use to tune in the exact sound you want.
- The cabinet as well as the controls were top notch.
- The controls are very easy and hidden on the back of the sub. The sub itself is much more attractive than the pictures show.
BIC America F12 Front Firing Powered Subwoofer
- The back of the unit features a crossover control, phase switch, and auto-off feature. You can turn it on or off manually or you can set it to auto which is what I do.
- The auto-off feature works pretty well
- On the back of the sub you will find a pleasing variety of inputs and controls. It's easy to operate
- I love this sub. Has all the features you want and a great price. Simple, powerful, perfect for a 5.1/7.1 system
- Bought this sub a couple years ago and still love it. the only thing that i can think of that i don't like is that there is no remote to adjust the level of bass. this is a little bit of a problem because the bass level is very touchy.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
BIC PL-200 II Subwoofer - Gloss Black
- I quickly powered it up and connected it via LFE.
- I like that it sleeps when not in use. I have it connected to Denon receiver and kenwood speakers. And it's just awesome.
- Quality construction, beautiful cabinet and easy to connect.
- The unit was diagnosed as having a faulty speaker connection.
- In my research I heard of some loose connections that require reconnecting wires.
BIC America F12 Front Firing Powered Subwoofer
- I personally use the LFE input which is a standard RCA mono cable but if your receiver doesn't support LFE you have an option for using speaker wire terminals. Also on the back include built in crossover and volume controls.
- You can connect via the standard RCA Coax if you have a Coax Subwoofer out connection on your AVR/Stereo
- You can connect this "in-line" with your speakers -- that is connect the speaker wire from your receiver to the posts marked IN on the sub, then connect wires going to the speaker(s) on the posts labeled OUT on the back of the subwoofer.
- I used a cheapo RCA cable which was sitting around to connect this sub to my receiver and everything sounded horrible
