What customers say about "Blade"
Gerber LMF II ASEK (22-01627) Knife System, 2 Leg Straps, Strap Cutter and Sheath
- This blade is easy to sharpen from tip till the final edge on the serrations.
- The steel used is no super steel but allows this knife to be had by anyone at a very reasonable price point.
- This blade does everything it says. I love this knife!
- The knife itself is very strong.
- It's essentially one very thick blade with a rubber coated tang, which like the blade is thick and heavy.
Gerber LMF II Infantry (22-41629) Knife, Black
- This blade has outperformed every expectation I have for a blade. It's simple yet very effective.
- I can stab right through sheet metal with this thing and it holds it's edge.
- This knife is the best. After splitting red oak for the smoker it didn't even need sharpening.
- Solid construction, holds edge super well (even after lots of batoning / wood splitting).
- Its construction is top notch, and the knife blade is incredibly thick. It will easily handle the toughest of cutting jobs with ease, and the serrations are well made.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Gerber LMF II ASEK (22-01627) Knife System, 2 Leg Straps, Strap Cutter and Sheath
- Highly impressed with this knife. Well balanced, and sharp right out of the package.
- Fantastic quality, excellent weight and balance, ultra sharp out the box - overall, excellent.
- On the down side it could be sharper and maybe a little thicker on the blade. I'd give this knife a four out of five, it has balance and a decent edge, but it could be a lot better.
- Due to it's weight I can easily drive the knife into hardwood when thrown, also because of the shape of the handle it throws very nicely.
- This is a great knife. Very solid, well made and surprisingly light weight.
Gerber LMF II Infantry (22-41629) Knife, Black
- It might be a little heavy for extended journeys but that's not going to stop me from taking it.
- Feels really great in the hand and tacky in a good way to keep a grip.
- It is much heavier than expected, but gives it a feeling of strength, which I like.
- Well balanced, and sharp right out of the package. The sheath and leg straps are comfortable enough and the grip has a good feel to it.
- It feels very solid with a nice balance. I bet one could dig holes with it!

- The handle is of a nice 'rubber' compound that gives you a good grip, even when wet. It feels very solid with a nice balance.
- This blade has outperformed every expectation I have for a blade. It's simple yet very effective.
- I got this for a bit of hunting and camping as a utility knife. It does everything!
- Great knife love the feel and grip of it. Will update again once I try it in the field.
Gerber LMF II Infantry (22-41629) Knife, Black
- One of the key aspects of it that I really like is the 3 holes for attaching the knife to branch which makes it a spear.
- The grip is formed by a rubber coating over the tang. The rubber is extremely grippy, I love it.
- The sheath is VERY rugged and conveniently outfitted with not only the belt loop but molle straps as well.
- Grip feels good in the hand. Comes with a basic, useful sheath that I have been able to enhance with some 550 paracord wrapping.
- The oversized handle fits perfectly with any sized hands.
