- Quality on this Buck 102 is top notch. No gaps or flaws, razor sharp. The 4" blade makes for easy and legal carry where I live.
- Smaller fixed blade knife that is great. As for the people who complained about how small it is you should know what you are buying first and not complain. This is a superb product
- Obviously a longer blade could split larger billets but weighs more and takes up more space in pack. This size is perfect for me.
- A great knife to take camping, hunting, or fishing. It's one of the few fixed blades I have. The blade is long and slender, but not fragile.
- Good size fixed blade doesn't attract to much attention when you wear it around.
- This knife feels better than the 102 and the longer slightly upswept blade are spot on.
- Love this knife, quality buck knife. Wood is beautiful and blade is razor sharp.
- The 4 1/2" upswept blade is perfect for deer, duck, fish and camp cooking.
- This blade is quality and beauty all in one.
- Could be the perfect all-day carry blade to have.
- It feels good in my hand. As others have noted, it will work for cleaning small game. And it works as a light-weight, all-purpose, emergency knife.
- Size and weight are a concern so this size is a nice compromise.
- I love this knife the weight and balance fits pefectly in my hand useful for most but not all skinning situations.
- The size, balance and weight are excellent. This Knife is the great for work.
- Total quality knife. Light weight, perfect for hiking backpack.
- It has the perfect weight/balance/angle.
- It's a bit more compact than other Buck fixed blade hunters, so it should carry nicely while still packing a lot of utility.
- I adjusted the grind a little bit to my own liking, but the design with the sleek, narrow, gently curved blade is just what I like.
- Great size knife. Not too big, but big enough to do the job.
- Perfect size for me. Smaller than the special, larger than the woodsman with a good size handle.
- The leather sheath is good quality and keeps your blade safe.
- As far as plastic handles go, this one's solid, but I can't deny I love the feel of a solid wood handle on my sheath knives.
- It'is a Buck, it's, and the handle is beautiful - actually it so beautiful that you will want to display it instead of use it.
- It has an unusually good leather sheath with great detail and the knife itself sparkles.
- The leather sheath is made in Mexico but still good quality.
- This blade is quality and beauty all in one.
- The sheath is made of quality leather, and it has a very nice rich color to it.
- Beautiful knife and well made. Exactly what you'd come to expect from Buck.
- Superb craftsmanship, super sharp. We like it well. Let us all hope Buck keeps making the best knives ever.
- High quality, good looking knife. I like it!
