What customers say about "Key Specs"
Seiko SRP775 Men's Silvertone Automatic Diver Watch
- I have a few mechanical automatic watches so I am by no means easily impressed. This is a rock solid timepiece.
- When it arrived, I wound the crown a few times, and haven't thought about it since. Wearing it keeps it running just fine.
- This watch is keeping time very well, losing only a couple seconds a week. That's more than good enough for me.
- Thankfully, while 45mm, it wears smaller for several reasons; the short lug length, the shape of the case, and the crown at the 4 o'clock position.
- The 4r36 is a proven movement that keeps great time and will last many years to come before needing a service.
Seiko SRP777 Automatic Diver Black Rubber Strap 45mm Watch
- I was concerned about the size because the SKX fits me perfectly. It is perhaps ever-so-slightly larger but has more of a square feel than the SKX.
- it still retains the overall look and feel of the original "turtle" shaped cushion case that gives this iconic watch it's nickname.
- It's 200m water resistance rating means you can actually dive with it.
- I was initially hesitant because this watch looks mighty large and the dimensions given are quite large. However, a lot of that is accounted for in the "cushion" case.
- This is my first automatic. I have to say that this is a great watch. It is beautifully built and looks far better in person than in any on line photo.

What customers say about "Materials"
Seiko SRP775 Men's Silvertone Automatic Diver Watch
- Not too big or too heavy the cushion case makes it just right. I am used to German automatics that are heavier even without a bracelet.
- The outer ring also has a gold brilliance to it that is beautiful and easy to read.
- The gilted hands and golden lettering on the dial and golden numerals on the bezel insert make this an instant classic.
- It's an awesome watch that's built like a tank and yet comfortable to wear all day.
- The finish and polish of the case is quite beautiful and the dial face reeks of quality.
Seiko SRP777 Automatic Diver Black Rubber Strap 45mm Watch
- The SRP777 works great as a daily wear watch. It's as good looking on the rubber strap as it is on a Nato, leather or a stainless bracelet.
- The case design is rugged, yet elegant. It has highly polished lower edges and inner lug area, as well a brushed upper deck running the length of the case from lug to lug.
- The watch face itself is smaller than the metal cushion case that surrounds it.
- The included rubber strap is soft and extremely comfortable against the skin.
- It looks good on the stock band or on a leather strap or a bracelet.

What customers say about "Features"
Seiko SRP775 Men's Silvertone Automatic Diver Watch
- The lumibright is wow super. In the end you are getting a lot for the money.
- Love this watch but wish I had a slightly larger wrist. Alas! My wrist is only 6.25 inches, so I had to remove 5 links.
- Still, I love the larger crown on this model, the gilt trim, the feel of the hand-winding mechanism, the fact that it hacks and the much heavier band.
- It also glows very well in the dark, so I finally have a watch I can read in the dark.
- It arrives with a band large enough for a giant, I guess to accommodate all sizes of wrists. I had to remove two links, and adjust the connection to the clasp by two holes, and it fits perfectly.
Seiko SRP777 Automatic Diver Black Rubber Strap 45mm Watch
- Where the SKX hour markers have a flat feel to them, the hour markers on the SRP have just enough dimension that it feels like a higher-end watch.
- Seiko has added drilled lugs. This makes watch strap changes a breeze for those how like to mix it up with different straps.
- The 4R36 is a hacking movement, meaning you can stop the watch on a given second by pulling out the screw-down crown.
- It's also a hand wind movement which comes in handy if you need to restart it after it's been sitting for a bit.
- The watch dial features Seiko's proven Lumibrite lume over the indices applied to a slightly greyed-black face which offers great legibility.
