- So I like this watch for the following reasons: it's solar powered, it's meant to take a lickin' and keep on tickin' (vis a vis G-shock)
- This is a great watch. It keeps time and provides timing and alarm functions with no fuss.
- Can be worn casually as its mid-sized and very light weight. Plus it charges with Solar energy, so this will probably last atleast 5 years without any service required.
- Wow, this is just an amazing watch from casio, luv it, looks and style is great, it really suits my small wrist.
- Most of the G shock's are either big, bulky or too complicated, but this is just the right size for people having smaller wrists.
- Never have to worry about somebody spilling their seventeenth Diet Coke refill on my arm and ruining it.
- Casio in a very affordable sports, work, or everyday design. This watch s something of a classic...and it meets my needs perfectly...I hope Casio never stops making this terrific watch!
- I bought this watch for my boyfriend and he loves it. He wears it everyday, all day, even in the shower.
- This watch does keep great time and is tough as nails. It is a basic watch that displays time, date, countdown timer, alarm, and has a light.
- I wear it every day and also dive with it. It is a simple design and does not bulge out like many of the newer Casios.
- Solid and utilitarian watch, the band is thicker than GW5000-1JF but also comfortable to wear
- Very good quality, excellent value and life proof. It's classic timeless design is pleasing and fit for most ocasions.
- Great watch for the price point and durability
- There's something about the rugged looks, no nonsense functionality of these watches that they will never go out of fashion.
- Very robust watch. Nothing exaggerated in it. No extra show off. Solar charging is the most useful feature. Auto illumination is a great feature.
- I work in the restaurant business and needed a daily driver that could take a beating. This watch fits the bill perfectly!
- Same watch I had purchased 40 years ago and I think same price. Great tough watch. Worth the money.
- As advertised, this is just about the most durable ready-for-anything watch you can buy with all the popular features, digital accuracy and Casio reliability
- I bought it as a nostalgic impulse remembering my first original steel case G-Shock from 1985 edition. It is very similar, lighter, better iluminated.
- This watch is very durable and can take the hard bumps.
- It is small in size, both the face and wristband width and length (i.e.: meant for a small Japanese wrist).
- This watch being solar makes me feel like ill have it for many years to come.
- Awesome watch. Solar is a great feature.
- Great watch! Old school no nonsense! Very vivid screen, light and rugged.
- It is a very nice watch and you will not be afraid to change the battery with this watch.
- Love this watch. Its simple and lights up great.
- The screen is bright and the watch doesn't have any issues and is still running strong since I bought it end of 2014.
- I like the countdown alarm with the repeat function, I use it a lot for exercise, work breaks & meditation.
- This G-Shock the Casio DW5600E is a fantastic watch. I wore mine for 7 years then passed it on to my son. At year 8 the battery finally died and I replaced it.
- Alarm is loud enough to alert / wake me, but not obnoxiously loud.
