About the Product
The NF-S12A marks the third generation of Noctua’s signature S12 series quiet case fans. Featuring a further refined blade design with Anti-Stall Knobs that works in tandem with the new AAO frame, the NF-S12A improves the airflow/noise efficiency of its renowned predecessor by up to 8%.
The 1200rpm PWM version features Noctua’s proprietary NE-FD1 for automatic speed control, which allows to strike a perfect balance between high cooling capacity and low noise operation in each given situation.

- The amount of airflow from this particular model seems good.
- There practically silent and provide great airflow in a low-medium static pressure setting.
- This fan is perfect for use as an exhaust fan because of its low noise and high airflow.
- This particular fan is airflow-optimized, as opposed to NF-F12s, which are pressure-optimized.
- Quiet, moves a lot of air, high quality bearings.
Noctua NF-S12B redux-1200 PWM High Performance Cooling Fan
- Fan works very well with plenty of airflow.
- These are crazy quiet. Airflow seems great, at least my tower reads overall lower temps.
- They're quiet, push a decent amount of air, and seem to last forever.
- Decent airflow and static pressure. Great for case exhaust fans.
- Perfectly silent and great airflow.
