About the Product
Monitor Audio's Bronze 2 bookshelf speaker builds on the strength of its predecessor the Bronze BX2's audiophile credibility with a neutral tonal balance and high detail resolution combined with high overall efficiency and power handling. These are the perfect ingredients for compelling listening.
Like its little brother, the medium sized 3020 bookshelf speakers benefits from the advanced, low distortion, wide dispersion, new 3000 Series Concentric Ring Dome tweeter; uprated crossover and improved low resonance cabinet. In addition, it boasts a larger 5 inch drive unit, with the new Aramid Fibre/Paper cone material. This larger driver delivers an extended big bass response with fast dynamics, wonderfully open, realistic midrange and an extraordinary 'being there' three dimensional sound.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Monitor Audio Bronze 2 Bookshelf Speakers - Black Oak
- They're built extremely well and the walnut finish is gorgeous. They're also extremely easy to power.
- Aesthetically, the Bronze speakers are very, very attractive and amongst the best-looking speakers I’ve ever seen.
- While these speakers have front ports, they need room to breathe and greatly benefit from good speaker stands.
- Great highs and very good lows. Very good fit and finish. They are also bi-wire and bi-amp capable.
Q Acoustics 3020 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair) (Graphite)
- The build quality is superb, it comes with a nice pair of cables, and the packaging is great. I highly recommend this!
- They are something much more than expected The build quality is 5 out 5 stars more important the sound is excellent.
- I have them in my bedroom (20' X 20') they are plenty loud enough for a room that size and sound and look like much more expensive speakers.
- The fit and finish is great. They have 5" "bass units" so needless to say, if you like bass, you will definitely need a subwoofer. They also come with a 5 year warranty.
- I love the look of the Walnut veneer and the rounded edges. It looks awesome sitting on my TV console. The magnetic grills are a nice touch that I wish more brands would do.

What customers say about "Audio"
Monitor Audio Bronze 2 Bookshelf Speakers - Black Oak
- I absolutely love these speakers. They're crisp and clear without being harsh, and the bass extension is low without getting muddy.
- I have never heard bookshelf speakers sound this good, regardless of price range
- The upper octave extension is lovely. These speakers sound much better than many other costing as much as 3 times more
- They are hooked up to a Onkyo TX-8160 receiver with two pairs of Canare 4S11 speaker cables each side, on Pangea 24" speaker stands. Source is an Akai BT-500 turntable with AT95E cartridge, connected with Audioquest YIQ-1 component video cables. Great!
- Bass might be a little thin for cinema (you'll want a woofer) - we use for mostly for music without a woofer and are perfectly happy. Nice looking units too!
Q Acoustics 3020 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair) (Graphite)
- I would highly recommend a subwoofer. Though the bass isn't deep, it has decent impact, and all frequencies have a lot of detail.
- These speakers are INCREDIBLE. Not even broken in, out of the box - so clear, great tone. Some of the best sound I’ve ever heard.
- These speakers sound amazing! I did a lot of research before purchasing, I wanted the best bookshelf speakers I could get for under $300.
- I've been longing for some time to try these speakers as they were rated highly by audio review sites. I haven't been disappointed. Though small, these speakers deliver a very clear and rich sound worth speakers many times of the price.
- Currently I do not have funky receiver or a CD player, but even with that, I am able to hear nuances of sound that frequently I haven't noticed.
- There isn't a lot of bass to this speaker. However, it's adequate for nearfield listening or close to a wall.
- The bass is the only problem, and the Elacs still need bass for some genres and movies.

What customers say about "Features"
Monitor Audio Bronze 2 Bookshelf Speakers - Black Oak
- They sound great playing any genre, but they do seem to really shine with jazz. I would absolutely recommend them.
- No more harsh treble, regardless of the listening source. And the bass coming from these… it was unreal. With the Kenwood, these bookshelves hit like a pair of 10-12 inch woofers, no lie. The overall soundstage was (and is) simply incredible when paired with the vintage Kenwood KA-7300
- I believe Monitor Audio has been successful in recreating the naturalness of that speaker but made it better in all ways. The punch, the bass these speakers create has to be heard to be believed.
- These speakers are the clearest sounding speakers in this price range that I have ever owned. I would strongly suggest these to anyone who listens to a lot of jazz, classical or even indie rock.
- My only caution would be that these Gems take a while to break in before they do they can sound not as good as they should
Q Acoustics 3020 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair) (Graphite)
- I put the port plugs in because I have a 15" sub to take the music down to 25hz and the Q's blend in very well. If you are looking for a pair of bookshelf & you want to spend 250.00 don't think twice.
- The QED cable that the company sent together with the speakers are excellent and improve sound by a lot than using no brand name wire. Overall, I recommend these and I am sure you can also be satisfied with other similar speakers from the Q Acoustics.
- These speakers are first class and have breathed fresh life into my Denon RCM-39. I rounded out the system by adding an Acoustic Audio PSW-6 subwoofer. It works discreetly in the background, allowing me to run the Denon with a flat EQ.
- The loudspeakers have a clear open mid-range, that is also open on top. The bass is good, but, does not extend very low considering there size. I feel the magic is in the mid-range and balanced with a sweet treble unmatched at this price point.
- I don't think you will find a more natural sounding loudspeaker for long term listening. An added bonus it how well they are built and packaged. Cheers!
- The Q Acoustic 3020 can be somewhat of a chameleon and it truly depends on your electronics, sources, and setup. I have become accustomed to them and can now appreciate what they have to offer.
