- Otherwise, these RTi A1s appear to be very well made. The cabinets are heavy and solid.
- They were solid, not overly heavy or bulky and could easily be placed on a bookshelf.

- The speakers are very long which might cause some of you discount these for back speakers on surround sound but not me.
- These Polk Audio sound really nice. The sound coming out of these little speakers is amazing.
- I was at first put off by there small size then pleasantly surprise by there amazing sound. very happy with my choice of Polk Audio RT1 A3 bookshelf Speakers.
- My only complaint is they are relatively big to be "bookshelf" speakers - these barely fit on my shelf.
- They are a little big so you'll need a larger area to position them.

- I had purchases Polk in-wall surround speakers for the rest of the room, but needed bookshelf ones for my front. These are great. Super solid and nice sound.
- The lows are surprising, the double porting really works.
- The sound is clear and tight. The midrange is unbelieveable. This is not a super hissy high tweeter either.
- I can best describe the tone of this speaker as "wood". It is natural, warm, solid sounding. The punch of the bass is precise.
- Highs are great, voices sound very natural and distorted guitars and drums sound very life-like.

- Real wood veneer cabinets is a nice touch and something you rarely find in this price range.
- These speakers have a vary small footprint, and are designed to be easily mounted to a vertical surface. Really nice enclosure, and finish.

Polk Audio RTI A3 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair, Cherry)
- The wood is beautiful, smooth and on bottom, top and sides.
- The finish is as good as any furniture and the front cover is a good fit.
- There are two posts on the back that hold the bottom of the back of the speaker away from the wall.
- The speaker has two sets of posts. The come connected together by copper strips. Pull the strips off and each speaker can be bi-amped.
- They are finished with a beautifully done cherry veneer with a flawless satin finish. The curves on these speakers are enough to make you weep.
