Perfect-Stroke Keys
As you can imagine, ergonomic keyboards are usually more comfortable than standard 'boards. But the Logitech Ergo K860 is even more comfortable than most ergonomic models, which is not surprising since Logitech peripherals were always synonymous with ergonomics. We're talking considerable differences here, even though they may not seem or sound considerable initially.
To initiate the conversation, with its curved and split KeyFrame™ design, the keyboard improves the typing posture, with the sizable curve supporting more natural typing. The sloping form that this design enables will minimize the muscle strain on wrists and forearms, keeping the hands, neck, and shoulders much more relaxed. Then, you have the so-called perfect-stroke keys, offering precise and fluid motion. The fingers will glide across the keys' matte surface with less resistance and friction. Meanwhile, the scooped shape will be orienting the fingers, allowing you to remain focused.
The Logitech group has always delivered on the construction front, keeping the prices reasonable while using expensive, durable, heavy-duty materials. The three-layered wrist wrest makes this even more evident than the keyboard. First, the rest introduces the surface fabric, providing stain-resistant, easy-clean coating. Then, this component hides high-density foam, offering cushioned support yet making sure that the tactile impression remains firm. Covering these two layers' six is the comfort memory foam, preventing them from sinking and keeping the wrest leveled. To sum them up, placing the forearm above the keyboard, this pillowed wrist rest provides ~54% more wrist support, reducing wrist bending by ~25%.
Tilt Legs
While we have already outlined the product's biggest selling points above, the adjustable palm tilt deserves some recognition too, featuring tilt legs that can go from 0 degrees to -4 and -7 degrees. With these tilt legs, you can use the keyboard seated and standing, the wrists will remain relaxed.
Is there anything about this keyboard that most customers will not like? Well, we would reckon that the enormous print screen key that you can even confuse with the backspace is something that most people will find a little uncomfortable at first. Aside from that though, the Logitech Ergo K860 should accommodate everyday users' needs, regardless of what they do for a living and how much time they spend using a keyboard.

Reverse Tilt
True to its name, this Microsoft Sculpt model features a really wonderful ergonomic design. The keyboard is domed in shape, and this shape provides significant decreasing (and even riddance) of wrist overpronation. You will forget about any pain in your wrists really soon. Additionally, this ergonomic keyboard has a reverse tilt. With it, you will have an opportunity to place your hands in a neutral position.
The offered here Microsoft ergonomic keyboard includes a wireless interface for computer connection. It is provided by a special receiver working at the 2.4 GHz frequency. You will be able to work with full comfort at the distance of up to 10 feet from the computer. And as for the supported operating systems, this wireless ergonomic keyboard works perfectly well with computers, based on Windows OS of 7, RT, 8, and 8.1 editions.
High Encryption
One of the most distinctive features this Microsoft ergonomic keyboard provides is the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with 128-bit encryption. What does this mean? Well, this wonderful keyboard can actually protect your data by encrypting the signal when you push the key buttons! This is truly fascinating. The next thing is that the Sculpt split ergonomic keyboard has a separate numeric pad to make your working space as organized and comfortable as it is generally possible. With the 104 keys, you will work with all the convenience you may need.

What customers say about this product
Keys(4)
Size & Weight(4.4)
Features(4)
Generous Key Spacing
The Perixx Periboard-612 looks and feels a little chunky, not quite what people have come to expect from split keyboards but the increased footprint actually does an excellent job improving the model's ergonomics. First, because the keys are so big, the keyboard minimizes misclicking, so you're not keeping the fingers bundled yet can type with the same precision, maybe even more now.
Of course, before that, ergonomic 'boards usually start with the split-key profile and the wrist rest. Even though the rest here is not cushioned, the component still adds decent wrist support, releasing median nerve pressure and reducing firearm tension. Making sure that the arm and hand position remains natural, this keyboard minimizes RSI and carpal tunnel chances.
While you might deduce otherwise, despite the affordable price, this 'board is wireless, letting you choose between Bluetooth and USB modules (we would recommend going with the first option as the second's range is quite short) and use the keyboard without contributing more wires to the workspace. There's this nice little compartment on the bottom where you can hide and store the USB receiver, so you can always bust this option out when necessary without looking for it.
Reduced Actuation Force
Because the keyboard is wireless, you will be using 2 AA batteries to provide the peripheral with the necessary juice. But this is not the interesting part. The interesting part is the keys' long travel distance that, nevertheless, reduces the actuation force required to register the click. Keeping the typing experience comfortable and familiar, the 'board also manages to squeeze the most responsive tactile responsive from its membrane switches, which is not the easiest feat.
Adding multimedia keys and 4 additional switchable keys (2 option keys and 2 command keys) for Macs was an easy feat though yet something that most keyboards fail to replicate. Using the key puller that's shipped with the device, you can add and remove these extra keys, adjusting the layout between Windows and Mac.
Last but not least, not unlike most ergonomic keyboards, this one lets you adjust the tilt angle, accommodating different heights and typing positions (seated versus standing).
Long story short, the Perixx Periboard-612 is not the most aesthetically pleasing keyboard but, from an ergonomics perspective, this is one dependable assistant, the one that most users can trust, from Mac to PC.

Guiding the Hands and the Fingers
The Adesso PCK-308UB introduces a unique little element to the ergonomic keyboard game, adding a touchpad to the wrist rest. Needless to say, most people will not find the touchpad necessary because most people use a mouse, which is a much more comfortable implement. Still, having that option available to you does not hurt (aside from somewhat increasing the keyboard's footprint), so we can get behind this addition, at least to some extent. Plus, when the mouse breaks and you need to finish the project asap, the touchpad will definitely come in handy. Between the two buttons and the scrolling feature, this 'pad will work alright replacing the mouse.
All keyboards, even ergonomic ones, start with the key layout. Not following the touchpad precedent, the model keeps things traditional here, featuring 105 standard keys positioned where these keys have been traditionally positioned but also adding 8 hotkeys atop them. These keys are programmable, though most customers will probably leave the default multimedia settings, with the keys increasing and decreasing volume, muting the sound, playing/pausing the audio, stopping it, sending you to the Home and Favorite pages, and opening new emails. As expected, there are also 3 keys above the numpad that you can use to turn the PC off, send it to sleep, and wake the system up.
That being said, with ergonomic models, the "ergonomic" part is important, as surprising as that may sound. On this front, the 'board offers what the company dubs the Tru-Form™ Pro design, with the model's profile contouring natural hand placement and the standard split-key construction guiding the hands and fingers into the most comfortable typing position.
Quiet and Durable Switches
There's an integrated palm rest since ergonomic models are not complete without them. But, because the rest also hosts the touchpad, some might find this part a little inconvenient at times. What's also a little inconvenient is that the base does not incorporate adjustable feet, so you cannot raise the 'board, a tad unfortunate considering everything else the product is contributing to the comfort cause. There's nothing unfortunate about the membrane switches though. Durable yet practically silent, these switches make sure the typing experience is not distractive.
Bottom line, the Adesso PCK-308UB offers a little more than most ergonomic keyboards, so as long as you don't mind paying a little extra, this 'board should not disappoint.

The Budget Approach
The Perixx Periboard-512 does not stand out, doing what most ergonomic keyboards are doing, which may sound like criticism but, considering that the product costs around 20-30 bucks less than the keyboards it is mimicking, this is actually low-key praise. Not unlike its more expensive competition, the 'board splits and curves, enabling the most relaxing typing gesture that reduces fatigue and minimizes muscle strain, preventing long-term injuries.
You'd think that, keeping the price low, the people behind the product would be using shoddy materials but this is not what's happening here. No, what's happening is that, ditching the orthodox silkprint approach, the 'board incorporates laser printing, making the symbols on the keys more durable and ensuring that they do not start wearing out within the first few years.
Admittedly, the product has its flaws too, even the most premium models do. Here, the biggest flaw lies with the switches. More specifically, with them being pretty loud considering that they're membrane. On the bright side, the switches are quite resilient, tested against 1,000,000 clicks so you don't have to worry about them giving out in the foreseeable future. Plus, the keys are offering the most satisfying tactile impression that membrane switches can provide, with long travel distance and, thanks to the wired connection, with no delay between registering the click and executing the command.
Speaking of, the cord that ensures the wired connection measures 6 feet, so you can move the keyboard around the desk without feeling too tied to the computer. The USB Type-A head that the cord is featuring will also fit most computers (except the most recent MacBooks), so, chances are, you won't need to use an adapter.
Raise the 'Board
Barring everything we have already mentioned and outlined, what's left are the multimedia keys, featuring the standard Internet, Search, Email, Volume, Mute, and sleep lineup. What's also left is the integrated palm rest, supporting the wrist. The remaining suspect is the adjusting tilt angle, with sizable feet on the bottom letting you raise the 'board when you feel like it.
All things considered, provided you don't mind the relatively loud clicking noises that the keys produce, the Perixx Periboard-512 will lend you the same ergonomic keyboard experience that its more expensive peers are offering. Plus, the model's as long-lasting as these more expensive keyboards.

What Is an Ergonomic Keyboard?
Your fingers and hands may quickly get tired when working with a conventional computer keyboard. People who spend a lot of time typing know this for sure. This is where buying ergonomic keyboard may become a great solution. An ergonomic keypad reduces fatigue of the fingers, increases a typing speed and reduces the number of typos. What differs an ergonomic keyboard from a standard one is its curved shape and non-alphabetic block. The shape and arrangement of the keys, as well as the wrist pad, allow for long hours work with the keyboard. Our review will help you choose the best ergonomic keyboard.

What Features to Compare
Design and Usability
Choosing an ergonomic keyboard you need to pay attention to the design and usability. A good ergonomic keyboard is made from a high-quality impact-resistant material. It should repeat the natural position of the hands and wrists, so you can work longer and feel no discomfort. There are two types of ergonomic keyboards: 2 key modules and curved. The first one consists of two modules that you can independently arrange and set at the optimal angle. In this way, the keys will be in a closer reach to your hands and fingers. The curved keyboard has a wavy alphabet form which makes it convenient to use.
Features and Multimedia
It is important to consider features and multimedia. Included features are backlight keys and extra multimedia keys. Thanks to the lightning, the keyboard is lit and well seen in the dark. Multimedia keys are programmed to perform various jobs - increase the volume, change music, scroll up and down and anything else you'd like to do. Some models have a built-in USB Hub, enabling you to connect additional USB devices, so that all other slots are free for other gadgets to use. Wireless keyboards are powered by batteries or accumulators. A wired keyboard is powered by the computer itself.
Connection Interface
When choosing an ergonomic keyboard for the computer, pay attention to the connection interface. The wired keyboards can be connected via a PS/2 port or via USB. You should also consider the cable length. Choose a cable with enough length for a more comfortable workplace. A wireless keyboard can be connected via radio or Bluetooth. Those keyboards, connected via radio transmitters, consume less energy and cover a larger range than most Bluetooth keyboards. Make sure to consider compatibility of different keyboards with operating systems. Most modern ergonomic keyboards are compatible with all OS, yet some of them may still require installation of special software.
