- The 5mm mat is the perfect thickness for me. It is about ¼". I wanted a little more cushion, but still wanted to feel grounded and stable.
- I seriously fell in love with this mat when I first got it, and I fall more in love with every workout! I use this mat for Pilates, HIIT, and body sculpting classes, all of which involve some cardio and jumping on and off the mat.
- I bought both the X and PROLite together and if it came down to a choice, I like the PROLite slightly better. It is the mat I use at physical therapy office and I prefer just a tiny bit better the "rubber" feel of the PROLite material over the X (however both are comparable.)
- I bought this mat to take with me on a trip, and it served that function perfectly.
- It's textured on both sides and is a pretty decent thickness. Pretty happy with this mat and the color (purple)!
- It travels well- it fits perfect in a medium size luggage and you can still fit tons of clothes- we travel a lot and this mat has been all over the country over the last year.
- The size and weight is comfortable to carry a few blocks to class with a sling.
- Love the color. Definitely motivated me to get back into yoga again. This size was perfect for me and I am 5'1. Not too heavy and very durable.
- Personally, I love this mat. I love the color, the size and it's very comfortable.
- A little expensive, but a lifetime warranty. The 79" size is terrific if you're a bit too tall for most mats, and you can feel the quality in the material.
- Color is gorgeous. Doesn't smell like plastic.
- An interesting concept that I've been patiently waiting to find. The material is quality and sticky, I haven't had any problems with sweat slipping at all.
- Plus, although it isn't as thick as some other mats, the quality of material makes it cushioned enough for comfort. This mat is my everything! Order it!
- It is the mat I use at physical therapy office and I prefer just a tiny bit better the "rubber" feel of the PROLite material over the X (however both are comparable.)
- The mat comes in lots of colors and I like that when I buy other products by Manduka I can get the same matching color as my mat.
- The material is far denser than the typical sticky mat I've been using for the last several years.
- Material wise, I prefer the "rubber" feel of the PROLite over the X, however both are comparable.
- The generic yoga mats are usually made with low quality material that will eventually cause the mat to smell and break apart but Manduka's yoga mat does not contain any odor (after properly breaking into the mat with the instructions provided) nor does it show any sign of tear and cracks.
- Really nice cushioning material, minimal odor when new, and has continued to look like new over the last month of moderate use.
- Disappointing. Good quality material, comfortable and supportive but I slip more than I expected, even during yin yoga or gentle flow.
