- Blu-ray, which is clearly winning the format war. PS3 games can come on Blu-ray, the XBox 360 can't ship games on the optional HD-DVD player.
- That all changed when my HDTV came in. The PS3 can upscale your DVDs far better than most up-conversion players, but when I put the blu-ray version of The Warriors in, MAN was I blown away.
- Great entertainment system, wifi built-in, blu-ray, media flash card reader, powerful game console, 1080p, backward compatible, no disc tray and sixaxis.
- Breathtaking next-gen graphics. The Grand Turismo High Definition demo shows off the power of the PS3. When playing GTHD, you almost forget that you are watching a computer animation - the cars and track look entirely lifelike (the spectators not so much).
- Blu-ray! Some people see this as a major downfall. It's forcing you to support a disc format. I disagree. The PS3 games are on blu-ray discs. Blu-ray is essential to the PS3.
- Fun to play with family and friends. Easy to set up and good color and graphics.
- I got it as a preowned device so it was way cheaper, so far it has work perfectly, and the graphics
- The best console from PlayStation that I have ever had, it is quiet, and the graphics are unbelievable. I recommend this console to anyone.
- Looks great, even more so in person. If you're one of the lucky ones to get your hands on this before they sold out congrats. Game was excellent. Awesome graphics.
- The graphics on this system is great! I'm not a big gamer but my other half has been on it since we got it!
- This PS3 comes with an upgradable 60 HDD. There are many options to upgrade your space should you want more, and it shouldn't cost you more than 100 dollars. Just ask any PS3 gamer that knows his stuff. Blu-Ray, in my humble opinion, I wasn't interested at first. I didn't see the point in it.
- Extensive hard drive space. There is no need to skimp on demos or downloads.
- If you find yourself running out of hard drive space, you can easily upgrade it to a 500GB (they are $54.99 on amazon brand new) to give you plenty of storage room for all your games and movies.
- So if you love the newest in new gaming experiences and other multi-media features(also storage of music, photos and videos on the hard drive),then this is a great choice. And if you cherish your PS2 collection and want a PS3,then the 60GB is the best way to go.
- USB mass storage is my bridge from the computer. First you can attach a USB card reader from your PC and will view pic, play mp3 and some movie files.
- I replaced the batman HDD over with a clear one from Japan. Looks like these are sold out, too, so you better find one ASAP.
- Though the difference in this version of the PS4 over the original is only cosmetic, you get the same guts (HDD and what not), it's still a sweet sweet looking system.
- Despite the relatively small hard-drive (which I immediately upgraded to 2TB), this console was worth every penny and will be a great addition to my gaming collection.
- The only downside is the price compared to a normal ps4 and the one memory option.
- I would recommend getting a larger HDD. Stock 500gb is not enough.
- HDMI 1.3, supports future video formats but more practically supports the new sound formats. HDMI 1.3 is extremely rare in today's equipment.
- With 4 USB port and media card reader, you can connect you SD, Memory Stick or your Compact flash card to the ps3, in which you can transfer data to or from ps3. You can connect you ipod and copy any MP3s to the ps3.
- Hassle free wireless networking. There have been some drops - but for the most part, the WiFi keeps us downloading and gaming as much as we need it. It provides a web interface and easy access to the PlayStation store and other PS3 users.
- Peripheral possibilities. With four USB hookups in the front, the possibilities are many - including a PS3 EyeToy and SingStar game.
- The PS3 is a great entertainment system. With 60GB of storage, you can pretty much store any kind of media into it. Did I mention it can play games?
- I had to purchase another Optical Audio cable to get sound as my receiver doesn't play audio through the HDMI cable.
- With integrated streaming capabilities, even over wi-fi, and Sony's legendarily good controller layout feel, I'm a happy camper.
- I got the console about a month ago, and experienced immediate problems with connecting to the Playstation Store and Playstation network (my internet connection is fine...everything having to do with the problem is on Sony's end).
- Blue light of death is caused by broken HDMI port or broken cord witch means some chip of metal or something in the HDMI port is broken.
- System has many features, music, photo, a web browser, online chat just to name a few
- Wireless controller. very easy to adapt to if you played the PS2 because it is simply the exact same thing.
- Music player, the music sounds amazing and pure. It sounds like you're in a concert.
- The controller is much lighter than the Xbox 360. However, I noticed the instructions say it will carry less charge over time.
- Surfing the web with the PS3 WiFi connection is an exercise in frustration. I don't plan to surf the web on the PS3 anyway and this is more of an annoyance than anything else because the network and PlayStation store run quite smoothly on WiFi.
- I love my collector's edition Batman PS4. The matte silver finish on the console and controller is what drew me in. Do not get me wrong, I loved the original black console, but the fact of the matter is that the gloss black HDD cover is prone to scratching.
- The controller is equally as good looking. Would have been over the top had they slapped a logo or decal on the controller too, but I'm not complaining.
- The controller is gorgeous and feels great.
- I waited to get a PS4 because of the lack of DLNA and other features, but the most recent update brings some new things. Now is the time to get a PS4. I skipped the launch date PS4 and the White Destiny Bundle but when I saw this design I knew I had to get it.
- You can share all your digital media from your computers or external hard drives to the PS and scroll through them like your PS is a media center computer...
