- This turntable has everything that I want in a turntable except that the turntable drive belt was missing!
- But, unlike the oldies, it has belt drive for silent running and completely manual operation.
- I found the controls to be very nice, the pitch adjustment glides nicely and isn't cumbersome to set, and the spin/stop button is very reliable.
- It has all you need to control the weigh of the arm, anti skate control, integrate preamp, USB port to convert your records in WAV format.
- The belt driven machine is quiet, the needle is decent, and the ability to rip vinyl is nice.
- The beltless direct drive does not use a belt. Just drop it into place.
- The direct drive motor one can tune with the pitch control should it become inaccurate (it isn't, the strobe to platter gives quick visual reference of the accuracy).
- Direct drive that stops and starts records immediately.
- The direct drive mechanism starts up fast and brakes automatically when you stop rotation.
- This product is amazing. High quality. Heavy, sturdy and a tough direct drive!
- The only negative is that this is not a fully automatic turntable, my first. Meaning that at the end of the record, the listener must make the move to end the session. This is the only negative I have found so far.
- When I first got the turntable, I was a little skeptical about the weight of the unit. My doubts were unwarranted. The turntable sounds very good and doesn't have any transfer of sound from other sources.
- When it arrived I was almost afraid to open it due to past experiences but when I did, I found a beautifully designed turntable of just the right weight without being like a cement block.
- The assembled product looked nice.
- Little tricky to setup but if you have some patience you get the turntable where it needs to be from sound perspective.
- Long story short , I have to re-adjust the weight of the turntable constantly , the quality of the product it's really cheap and now I just don't even balance the torn arm anymore since is so un-stable that I just leave it with a lot of extra-weight all the time , that is the only solution I found .
- Well, It has a nice weight to it, the feet are a nice size to provide not just lift, but actual slight tilt-able support.
- They sound good could be louder, but the sound fills the room and they have a good amount of base for the small size.
- Perfect for a small to medium size room.
- The weight of this unit is impressive.
- It is a bit pricy and I've seen some of smaller size but those are of no means problems with this one.
- It is better than nothing, and won't hurt your records.
- I've recorded a number of tracks from vinyl recently. The unit works great!
- I put on my worst sounding record ever and it sounded wonderful! Just a wonderful turntable!
- When it gets to the end of a record, it would be helpful to have it automatically lift the tone arm off of the platter.
- Setup was easy but there is no auto pickup at the end of the record and the cue level to raise and lower the tonearm is near the back of the arm.
- The included cartridge is a top-notch value, it’s got a good amount of weight in the unit and platter, the direct drive motor is strong, and it looks nice on a shelf.
- This record player played it just fine, without skipping, and only minor hissing.
- It actually made the needle bounce on the record!
- The speed of the motor is very even - it required no adjustment out of the box - although that is easy to do as I tried adjusting it.
- Speeds are very accurate, dynamic range of the provided cartridge is excellent, and the versatility of being able to run it into an amp or use its own preamp is a nice feature.
- The connections: the USB is always on so that makes it easy to record right away to a laptop.
- It produces a very clear and clean sound from my 45 year old vinyl albums
- Does come with a dust cover that is not pictured. I am using it stock right out of the box and I love it. Highly recommended.
- The USB-1 was easy to set up and using it is great fun. I have a fairly old record collection and the USB-1 goes a long way in giving these old platters a fine spin!
- The sound quality is poor enough that you might think that vinyl doesn't sound very good compared to CD's.
- Plays my vinyl collection perfectly with fully manual operation.
- My vinyl collect sounds great and I've had no problems in 5 years. For me that's 5 stars!
- The hinged cover opens with a good, solid feel and stays put in the open position.
- I like that the cover is a heavy piece of plastic that feels like you're really closing the thing.
- The thickness of the dust cover was also impressive.
