- I can bake two trays of cookies at the same time, but even with the convection on the top tray of cookies gets brown faster. It has 4 levels for the racks. For perfection, you have to rotate trays half way.
- The capacity (this is not the outside dimensions which are larger) of this oven, measured by me, is 14.25"-Width; 13.25"-Depth, and 6.0"-Height (the height is measured from the lowest rack setting to the top ceiling). A 13-inch round pizza stone will easily fit in the oven.
- It's massive. I cooked a 7lb chicken in this thing as it is rated for a 9lber and there wasn't much room left .( I assume one could cook a 9lb in there but you are going to be at max capacity height depth and width . It cooked the chicken thoroughly all the way through . Was juicy and not dried out.
- Even though it has a large capacity, it doesn't take up much more rrom on the counter top than my old toaster oven did.
- Nice large capacity with two cooking racks and many many features. Interior light is a great added perk. You will love this oven.
- Evenness: With the convection fan it actually does heat very evenly despite being so close to the elements. This absolutely saved baking here.
- Comes with a nice pizza tray, broiler, and baking tray. None are special but they didn't have to give them to you and they do anyway.
- Cooks pretty much everything perfectly. Toast comes out just right, as do biscuits, chicken, stuffing, cookies, cupcakes, pretty much anything you put in it. This really is like a full size oven reduced to counter top size.
- Heats up very quickly, cooked a cobbler pie last night temp 400. Turned on at 6:25:20, at 6:30:16 bell sounded to insert the pie. Reached 400 degrees was 5:36 Seconds.
- Heats up quickly (faster than our double ovens). Uses less electricity than a full size oven.
- It looks good and I like the width and overall size.
- It is a bit more expensive than some other ovens, but the size and capacity make it ideal for anyone who lives in a small home or apartment.
- The size is phenomenal and substantially larger than my former Cuisinart toaster oven. be mindful of the size if you're placing on counter under cabinets. I actually had to move my undercounter paper towel holder since there was no longer enough clearance.
- The oven size is good and I could fit a tray horizontally which I couldnt fit in my previous Hamilton Beach tall oven. But I wish this cuisinart was a little higher since I use both the racks at the same time a lot.
- This toaster oven is larger than what I really wanted, but it turns out that I really like the size and versatility.
- Looks great. It's all stainless steel so, if like me, you've got stainless appliances in your kitchen, it'll fit right in and look really good on the counter.
- LOVE the look and the size of the oven. It fits perfectly in the space I had available.
- LOVE the interior size of the oven and the trays that come with it- especially the pizza/cookie tray!
- Size is great, you can really make a lot in it.
- Takes up more room than a conventional toaster. This may seem obvious, but it's worth saying that you'll loose counter space over a traditional toaster with this
- The manual is good. The quick start guide is definitely helpful for the people who don't have a lot of patient or already have some idea on how to operate an oven. The quick guide also gives you a good and short summary on 'getting to know your control panel'.
- The oven has accurate temperature control and heats evenly. We have not experienced a problem with any of the foods that we have tried. We prefer to use the generic cooking programs like bake and reheat over the more complex cooking settings.
- Besides size, I would give it high ratings on sturdiness, quality finish, and usability of the controls.
- Over all very happy with this sleek oven. the digital controls and the LCD window look beuatiful and this oven is worth the money.I look forward to suing this oven and using the high tech cool controls.
- The controls are easy to see and to use, the oven heats quickly and evenly, especially with the convection feature in use.
- LCD screen helps you find what you want to do quicker and easier
- It has a "keep warm" mode so you can use it to keep breakfasts warm for larger families (I use this a lot).
- LCD: I really thought this was overkill until I started using it. It's exceptionally nice for what you'd expect on a toaster oven and it's actually somewhat necessary with all the settings.
- Easy to operate. The little LCD screen is easy to read from both a visual sense and an understanding sense. Everything you need to know is right there laid out in an easy to understand way.
- I wish the timer alarm could be set to be a bit louder. It's plenty fine when you're in the same room, but walk a room or two away and you'll miss it.
Cuisinart TOB-260
Breville BOV800XL
- It has a lot of functions with preset parameters. This will help if you don't remember the temperature and time for certain type of cooking.
- The beep when ready or done is not loud, but can be turned off too. Warms up really fast. Top gets hot but does not heat my kitchen or counter.
- The Cuisinart heats faster, has an interior light and the wonderful display for controls is more intuitive.
- The internal light is a great option. It comes on whenever you open the door and stays on for a few seconds after the door is closed.
- One function I would like to see is an option that would be to allow the timer to start counting down during preheating rather than waiting until the target temperature is reached.
- The plug for the outlet has a cool little hole making it easier to remove when done. (nice if other companies would think like that).
- The magnet on the door which works at helping pull out the tray slightly for easier time grabbing it.
- Shuts off after any of the options are used (unlike competitors).
- Timer - Big countdown on the bottom of the screen that always keeps you informed of how much time you have left.
- The top gets a bit warm, so consider getting the matching bamboo board that goes on top with silicone pads.
- Does get too hot to touch during operation, this is not a con for me as all previous toasters were the same.
