- Large capacity, many heating temperature options, has replaced using the oven for heating and cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner. excellent purchase.
- For a pricey counter-top appliance it does have many alternative features and it cooks the food very well. Capacity for larger amounts of food are a plus as well!
- I can avoid using my full size oven since this is a large capacity toaster oven.
- This is bar none the best one ever. Smooth as butter controls, smart instrument panel, quick turn on heating elements, larger volume capacity.
- The oven capacity and numerous features including convection oven were all definite perks for me in selecting this oven.
- Evenness: With the convection fan it actually does heat very evenly despite being so close to the elements. This absolutely saved baking here.
- Comes with a nice pizza tray, broiler, and baking tray. None are special but they didn't have to give them to you and they do anyway.
- Cooks pretty much everything perfectly. Toast comes out just right, as do biscuits, chicken, stuffing, cookies, cupcakes, pretty much anything you put in it. This really is like a full size oven reduced to counter top size.
- Heats up very quickly, cooked a cobbler pie last night temp 400. Turned on at 6:25:20, at 6:30:16 bell sounded to insert the pie. Reached 400 degrees was 5:36 Seconds.
- Heats up quickly (faster than our double ovens). Uses less electricity than a full size oven.
- The size is perfect; the oven door works great; it cooks the food evenly!
- Perfect size for medium to small location. Works greats, from cookies to reheating pizza.
- After researching several Toaster ovens, I chose this Breville due to the interior size and product reviews.
- This is the best toaster oven for the size we have ever owned. Replaced an older model where the convection fan broke, and spluged for all the bells and whistles because it was on sale.
- Great oven to cook with, from pizzas, toasts, to anything we want to prepare that fits its size. Very versatile. Great item in our kitchen.
- Looks great. It's all stainless steel so, if like me, you've got stainless appliances in your kitchen, it'll fit right in and look really good on the counter.
- LOVE the look and the size of the oven. It fits perfectly in the space I had available.
- LOVE the interior size of the oven and the trays that come with it- especially the pizza/cookie tray!
- Size is great, you can really make a lot in it.
- Takes up more room than a conventional toaster. This may seem obvious, but it's worth saying that you'll loose counter space over a traditional toaster with this
- Well built, intuitive controls, and works great! And it looks great too!
- Best toaster oven I have owned. Controls very easy to operate.
- Takes a little longer to pre-heat but has a nice timer and easy to read display. Tons of functions.
- The digital display is nice and very functional.
- Some LCD display characters did not respond accurately to the dials, there was a drift.
- LCD screen helps you find what you want to do quicker and easier
- It has a "keep warm" mode so you can use it to keep breakfasts warm for larger families (I use this a lot).
- LCD: I really thought this was overkill until I started using it. It's exceptionally nice for what you'd expect on a toaster oven and it's actually somewhat necessary with all the settings.
- Easy to operate. The little LCD screen is easy to read from both a visual sense and an understanding sense. Everything you need to know is right there laid out in an easy to understand way.
- I wish the timer alarm could be set to be a bit louder. It's plenty fine when you're in the same room, but walk a room or two away and you'll miss it.

Breville BOV800XL
- Only slight complaint is that the convection fan is a bit noisy. Other than that, all has been good.
- Love the design and features and use it almost every day
- Oven works good. Has a lot of features, and is pretty smart as well.
- Yet this one has better features and is easier to use.
- I absolutely love the feature that pulls the tray as you open the door! Also the metal outside is kitchen friendly.
- The plug for the outlet has a cool little hole making it easier to remove when done. (nice if other companies would think like that).
- The magnet on the door which works at helping pull out the tray slightly for easier time grabbing it.
- Shuts off after any of the options are used (unlike competitors).
- Timer - Big countdown on the bottom of the screen that always keeps you informed of how much time you have left.
- The top gets a bit warm, so consider getting the matching bamboo board that goes on top with silicone pads.
- Does get too hot to touch during operation, this is not a con for me as all previous toasters were the same.
