- I would have given this a 5 star rating except for an issue I had the second time I used the scope.
- Now that I've had the scope for several months I think it is time to write a review giving the "pros" and "cons". This scope is an upgrade from my 90mm Orion table top scope...so a REALLY big upgrade.
- Quite impressed with this telescope. I upgraded from a 8" and there is a significant difference.
- If you like looking for stars, don't buy this scope. If you like looking at stars, buy this scope.
- Great scope. Enjoy it very much. The starsence works pretty well using the hand controller.
- This scope is perfect for a beginner.
- Great quality and a good telescope for beginners.
- There is a nice moon picture.
- Phenomenal magnification, but average optical quality. Excellent value for money.
- Extremely well made and robust.
- Telescope was very easy to setup no real need for instructions.
- Nice and easy to set up and super simple to align. I had a C-11 10 years ago with dual fork arms and was therefore worried that the single fork arm design wasn't going to be stable enough, but it hasn't been a problem at all.
- So easy to set up, so easy to use
- Starbright XL coats are magnificent, views are crystal clear and sharp. Breaks down and sets up very easily. GOTO when set up is spot on.
- I updated the firmware in the telescope...be mindful that it updates the motor software, the Star sense and the hand controller firmware.
- Easy to manage, the accessory tray is very useful.
- Easy to set up and use, highly recommended.
- The item itself is fairly easy to set up, comes with detailed instructions.
- Great telescope for beginners. Good price and great quality.
- Fantastic telescope. Really well made.
- For its size the scope and mount are light and portable. This is not to say it is light...just lighter than anything else for the same size.
- The telescope arrive in several pieces (tripod, mount, OTA), putting it together is very easy and takes just a few minutes.
- The mount is solid and rather heavy and is secured to the tripod with spring loaded knob. An improvement versus the 8".
- The new features are in the mount and tripod. The tripod is a bit more robust with detents in the legs for easier leveling.
- So far it seems like a great scope and mount but, I couldn't get the wifi access point configuration to work.
- Build quality is good. Tripod is very sturdy.
- Mount is solid and very easy to use.
- Excellent product and easy to assemble.
- The telescope is excellent. It was fairly straightforward to assemble.
- Reasonably easy to build.
