Fiio E17K
- This DAC is very versatile, for those looking into higher end audio without breaking the bank, to those wanting a better portable experience.
- I am honestly surprised that this DAC isn't more popular. Amazing device, highly recommend!
- Awesome DAC / Amp combo! Takes your audio to an entirely different level!
- I had a 'Groove Tube' and put it in. Sounds fantastic! Impressive purchase!
- Sounds much better than the portable options I've tried. Good portable device.
- The E17k allows you to adjust for bass and treble or listen to your music flat, boosts the volume and trancodes your digital signal to analog.
- The higher ohm rating the headphone more this dac shines.
- Poweramp player just fine for music. Treble is clear.
- The built quality is all aluminum with a clear easy to read menu window. DAC does its job perfectly.
- Great for rock and roll! Strongly recommend this amp/dac.

- The XD-05 is a large portable Dac/amp. The potentiometer is not blocked by an extruding protecting arm like many other portable's. I like this because of it's ease of access.
- Its a nice weight, feels solid, and I just love the little switches.
- Build quality is very nice and easy to use controls. feels ideal in size and weight comparison.
- The case is sturdy aluminum about the size of a modern smartphone but 3x as thick.
- This pretty little guy takes some getting used to, but works great with ALL my different headphones and sources.
- Smaller than a phone so very portable. Highly recommend.
- Great advantage of this unit is its portability. The unit is about the size of a deck of cards (and feels lighter as well).
- The small size makes it extremely convenient to carry around and use with my cell phone on the go and my computer at home.
- It is compact, about the size of a thicker, older smartphone, but made of dense, high quality aluminum construction.
- It's very small - a third the size of your phone - so it's gonna be like your remote control, and get lost in the couch a lot.

- The XD-05 offers one of the most versatile feature sets in this price range.
- High gain is pretty deafening as well and you should not have to use it. The XD-05 also offers DSD256, PCM, and DXD. Huuuge unit according to features.
- As for the device, the bass boost is a great feature for times when you want to rock out a little bit more.
- The knob turns very smoothly and has a nice click to turn the device on and off.
- It was a quirky decision to make the input on the device a male USB recessed into the chassis. Now I had to buy a micro-usb to female-usb extender.
- The controls are easy to use and the lock feature keeps it from changing your settings while in a pocket.
- The great sound quality and volume to spare one of the greatest features is the bass and treble controls.
- It works well on my Windows laptop and sound is consistent between computer and phone.
- Sounds great using as a analog AMP, via headphone jack to headphone jack.
- The bass crossover/gain isn't quite as low frequency as i prefer, sounds more on the punchy side rather than deep side.
