The mids and highs are superb. Amazing sound and infinitely better than other headphone amps in this price range.
With this DAC the bass is powerful and clear.
When I got mine today and open it up. Plug it on. Sounds great. What a little powerful amp.
Awesome amp, makes all sounds more clear, more robust, and definetly louder.
My NX3 was only a few months old when it lost one stereo channel. I contacted customer service to help and nothing.

It's just that good. The extended Bass really makes the bass much more pronounced without compromising the mid's and clean high's.
Highly recommend if you like loud music and good sound. Next upgrade is a better phone with a better dac!
Excellent portable amp. If you phone DAC produces no noticeable issues, go with this amp.
No DAC included in this unit, but for what it does and the price, it's a great little amp.
Please don't confuse this little DAC amp with a more expensive preamp/EQ. It's not going to dramatically change your headphone's frequency response.

So I just got this little amp and have already listened to it for a few hours and let me say, I'm impressed!
The amp is very small, probably 1/3 the size of my galaxy s4 in an otterbox, which is the phone this is hooked up to.
This thing is small, a little bitty body of metal and this perfect.
Compact size makes it easy to carry. I recommend this.
I'm not pleased with the sound and the portable size.

Take it from me, this thing is the real deal! Overall I find that the sound quality is A+++! I like this features!
This a unique device because it has a pre-Amp this helps with the Kilimanjaro 2 producing a sharp clean sounds.
Even if you don't have a professional set of headphones this makes any of them sound premium. With a 10 hour battery, it's perfect for travel.
Phone rings sound like they are in my home. Dog barks sound like one of my dogs. This is cheap, simple to use, and does a fantastic job.
All of the vocals in any music dropped off. I tried turning on and off disconnecting cables and reconnecting still sounds like garbage.
