Cambridge Audio DacMagic Plus
- I can report that there is definitely an improvement in the sound quality with the DacMagic DAC.
- The sound is a bit less grainy. It sounds like the sound is more "filled in", like there were gaps that were there before that are now filled in.
- This simple addition made my system sound like one costing thousands of dollars, not hundreds!
- The DAC is very good in sound production, perhaps a little more mid range heavy than top end that I usually like but very listenable and non fatiguing.
- Significantly improves sound quality! I hooked up this dac to my JBL 2328 studio monitors.
- This DAC is a very high quality piece of stereo equipment. The ONKYO 8050 built in DAC was nice but I can definitely tell a difference in sound quality using the DacMagic Plus.
- The unit is made exceptionally well, looks good and sounds fantastic. Setup is just plug-n-play.
- Sound is super natural! Now I can use my old gear with new video & audio conveniences!!
- This DAC is great. Sounds wonderful, I am using with a USB connection to a small PC and running JRiver and JRemote on an iPad Mini.
- It works only one month, then a noise appear and finally stop to work.

- This is a compact, highly capable DAC. I have the output connected to a 2 channel Yamaha receiver, powering a pair of KEF R300s.
- Incredible increase in sound quality from PC files - compact & efficient!
- I am surprised that such a compact thing can improve the sound so well.
- I highly recommend this compact amplifier for your sound system.
- It is easy to lose sight of because of its small size. Therefore, sometimes you have to look for him.
- Unit is pretty light so it's somewhat portable. It can fit my laptop bag.
- Size and look was perfect for me and produced a good sound.
- I liked the small size so that i dont have to see more clutter on desk.
- The DacMagic Plus is compact and doesn't take up a lot of desk at all.
- This unit is compact and well built. Highly recommend.

- It's also very nice that you can see the sampling rate of the incoming data.
- The sound stage is much wider, the bass comes through with a lot more punch and the clarity of the midrange/highs is spectacular.
- The DAC is very convenient as it allow multiple connections to my Amp which is really great for me.
- I also have a bluetooth receiver plugged into it's single toslink port which also sounds very nice with music I stream from my phone like Pandora or Amazon music.
- My biggest complaint about the DacMagic is that there's no trigger input to turn it on.
- This is a really great sounding unit that is built well and an amazing value for the money.
- The bass has much more punch even on lower volume. At high volumes it really sounds great.
- Very well made, professional connections. The sound is impeccable.
- Used on windows and MAC. The sound quality was equally impressive on both.
- The Bluetooth adapter didn't work very well with my windows 7 computer.
