- It’s very substantial and sturdy. I opted for the low (no riser) mount for my Saiga and it looks awesome.
- The sight can be used without problems of eye relief. it doesn't matter where on the barrel it's mounted.
- These sights are great. I have them mounted on various pistols and have never had a problem.
- Nicely made affordable unit that mounts easily, has a nice clear and easy to see red dot.
- Build quality seemed nice, but the reticle was super malformed rendering the sight useless.
- The reticle itself is very good at all brightness levels. This red dot is light weight so you dont have to worry about bogging down your rifle/pistol with too much weight.
- I figured my old Chinese sks wouldn't, so I sought after an optic that offered quick acquisition within a comfortable eye relief distance and a readily visible reticle that was somewhat representative to a couple MOA red dot reference.
- The reticle is very bright as well. The sight has 11 adjustment settings for the reticle but I only needed to go to level 4.
- Zero'd it in at 25 yards and ran 500 rounds through it without a single problem Zero stayed right where it should be and the mount was rock solid.
- Just so my expectations for this unit are understood, I have this mounted on a Mossberg 500, which is a backup to my Benelli M4 with an Aimpoint T2.
- With the 3 I have you can see obvious quality games in the reticle.
- It does copy the successful style and features of TRS-25 but it looks more refine. The LED is at the same place but it's much smaller and installed without showing the glue.
- Overall, I would own this again if they came out with a push button or automatic turn-on feature like the MOTAC on the Sig Sauer Romeo 5, which is what I bought instead.
- The red dot is very crisp and even at the lowest brightness is very visible.
- The red dot at the lowest setting can be seen clearly on a bright sunny day. this helps because the lower the setting the smaller the diameter of the dot.
- The glass is very clear, dot is bright and vibrant, beyond pleased!
- The windage and elevation adjustment knobs are very compact as well, each featuring a slot for a coin or other tool to make adjustments.
- It doesnt have great features and is pretty straight forward. Red dot isnt the sharpest, but it works great within 50 yards.
- Believe me there are more expensive sights out there but for the price I think you get some great features with this one.
- After receiving and fiddling with it a bit, I noticed it didn't have a zoom dot feature. I wish the optic was as advertised, I would probably buy a couple more if it was.
- Could have an auto shut off feature, but not the end of the world
- The reported life of the battery is 50k. It's an unknown as it has been on the next to lowest setting since I got it and still working fine.
- After unboxing I inspected it and found that the battery slot has two separate O rings to keep moisture out and the elevation and windage knobs also have small O rings.
- Do remember to turn it off when not in use, the batteries are great, but thay should be off anytime not in use.
- This has been a great red for the price. If you are looking for a red dot that you can beat and it still keeps zero, you have found it with a 5 year battery life.
- On the middle brightness setting (#6) I get about 500 to 600 hours of battery life, which amounts to roughly 3 weeks, before the dot starts to dim and by the end of the 4th week the battery is completely dead. For comparison, the trs-25 lasts 5 to 7 days on setting 6.
- It uses the CR2032 battery and I personally have had them go much longer than a year before having to replace them. Just don't use cheap batteries, purchase a reputable brand and you will never find yourself in the woods with your red dot dead.
- Battery life is very good for the single button battery the sight uses, just remember to turn it off (set it to 0) when you are done with it for the day.
- It doesn't mind the elements and has a long battery life.
- Battery life is average at best, and you will drain the battery if you inadvertently leave the light on.
- The battery life seems to be adequate. Bushnell claims 3,000 hours.
