The new AMD Athlon II X4 quad-core processor has a clock speed of 3.1 GHz. The chip is made according to the norms of the 45nm technical process and is suitable for installation in the AM3 socket. The AMD Athlon II X4 processor has 2MB of shared cache and support for DDR3 memory, and has a TDP of 95W.

The Intel Core i5-3470 processor is based on the new Ivy Bridge architecture. The nominal internal frequency of the processor is 3.2 GHz, which in "turbo" mode increases to 3.6 GHz. Heat dissipation of the processor does not exceed 77 W.

AMD Athlon II X4 645 CPU Processor

I am extremely happy with the results! The processor can support my 16GB of RAM.
Despite the fact that the processor has only L2 cache, this is more than enough for work.
So far this cpu has performed well for the budget gamer that I am.
I have a gtx660sc and 12 gigs of DDR3 and I am able to play BF3 at 45-60 FPS, never a slow down with my setup.
The downside to this cpu is the lack of an L3 cache which would make this about 20% than my other CPU.
