- In general I am happy with this device, would recommend to buy, overall quality is like Apple, box and device looks very expensive.
- This is a really good sounding hi-res player, especially considering it’s size.
- The size of the device is perfect to carry around, its about the size of an apple watch but a little bit thicker. The UI to me is great for the size.
- The names are too long to read on the small display. I need to work on importing existing ones to get around that.
- The only drawbacks are the comparatively huge bezels for the screen. The display font could have been made smaller so that song names can actually be read.
- All the album art displays on the screen when music is playing, maybe not important, but cool.
- The display is a little too bright for me at night even on the lowest setting, minor complaint.
- This display format cannot be changed.
- No album artwork with the display.
- I haven't spent much time with this thing yet, but my first impression is not a good one due to the upside down display.
- Nice little audio player, great Bluetooth functionally, and I've enjoyed using it until the past couple weeks.
- Impressed by size, it is amazing. And very light device.
- Everything a music lover could want in a pocket size. Positive price to value ratio.
- The small size makes the user interface more complicated.
- My only problem is the size compared to my motor skills. I find it hard to navigate.
- Very good sound quality considering its size and price.
- Sound quality is great. Size of the unit is perfect. Very intuitive.
- i like the weight of the player and the buttons function just fine,,the scroll wheel is very good as well.
- Light weight is a plus. I use a 64 gb card in it and still haven't filled it up. And you can delete songs from the gadget, which is very helpful. Plus, it’s very lightweight.
- Lightness in weight and the materials used (specifically in the wheel) make the product feel cheap.
- The memory is exactly what I want in all my portable electronics- expandable! You can fit a 512GB card in there if you can find and afford one.
- The UI is clean, quick, and easy to navigate consider the screen size.
- The best I like is direct USB digital output. It can function as a portable player on the run and a digital source for desktop DAC. Love it!
- Bluetooth works great too and the LDAC functionality is perfect.
- My biggest complaint, that you can't go back or skip songs with the controls on Bluetooth headphones.
- Handles multiple formats, including FLAC. That is a huge advantage over the iPod.
- Very good unit. I like the fact that it has a micro sd slot so you can add/remove songs as you like or have multiple sd cards and have your own little play lists at your disposal.
- This device has exceeded all of my expectations. Build quality is fantastic.
- I do wish the sd card slot had a little cover or something, but other than that, I can’t complain.
- Perhaps a cover over the SD card slot would have been an improvement.
Shanling M0
Fiio X1
- All in all, I really do like this device. It sounds great, it was cheap, and the battery lasts forever.
- The touch screen works pretty well and battery life is great.
- Great build quality and sound quality; intuitive touch screen interface; solid bluetooth pairing; and very good battery life.
- My main complaint is the battery life at approximately 3 hours it’s quite low fortunately I don’t use it any longer than that but it still takes about the same amount to charge.
- My biggest gripe is that the battery life seems a lot smaller on mine than everyone else is proclaiming.
- Has decent battery life all great steps toward making it a wonderful media player.
- Decent battery life. I use it daily and rarely have to charge it more than twice a week with daily use.
- Battery life is long and the little unit is stylish with accessories now being offered such as leather cases and wearable wrist bands.
- This has 10 hr battery life and up to 128 gb through the use of an sd card bought separately.
- It has great battery life and feels solidly built.
