- Great size, clear picture, brilliant colors. I write software, do visualization, and work with large datasets/spreadsheets and the wide format is fantastic.
- They monitors have a great resolution and I was skeptical on the curve thing but i love it now.
- Video editing never was easier with this monitor and the the resolution is just amazing.
- This monitor is a great size and I LOVE the curve but it's just not high enough resolution. It almost hurts my eyes to read text on it.
- On the 4K the pixel density was so high I had to increase the font size, so the increased resolution did not provide amazing gains. And this monitor isn't a lot less resolution than 4k.
- This monitor is excellent. The wide screen allows for more useful screen real estate for running multiple applications without having to resort to the split screen multiple monitor setup.
- This is really two full screen monitors in 1. I can't tell if the curve helps or not but the view angles are great. the resolution is PERFECT. wow.
- Screen Real-estate, sweet big screen, a photographers or gamers dream (If you don’t have much space make a cardboard cutout to make sure you have room)
- First of all I will start with the positives about this monitor, the resolution is spectacular. Works excellent with a Surfacebook.
- The actual resolution and picture quality is as advertised, and I have no complaints in that regard.

- Amazing picture quality. I've used it for programming, web browsing, gaming, and a movie, so far, with no complaints.
- Great color quality out of the box and at all viewing angles
- "IPS glow" isn't as bad as other IPS monitors. Pretty good when viewing from a normal angle. Can play dark games (Elite: Dangerous) without any real issue.
- It’s a view beautiful monitor but it seems quality control is lacking. My monitor suffered from very bad back light bleed near the top center.
- At maximum brightness, it doesn't have that vivid, crystal clear look.
- It is not fair to compare this curved LED monitor with my FlexScan EV2736W, as the later one is for graphic design. However, the color accuracy was not bad, as well as the sharp text due to the resolution.
- The colors pop even with the matt screen which is preferred for more accurate color representation; although I admit glossy screens do make pictures pop more they are not good for when you are trying to make adjustments to pictures and colors.
- Outstanding monitor! The color and clarity are the best Ive seen to date. Back panel finish is nice and looks good on approaching my desk (kind of a rose silver hue).
- It is not fair to compare this curved LED monitor with my FlexScan EV2736W, as the later one is for graphic design. However, the color accuracy was not bad, as well as the sharp text due to the resolution.
- If screen has the dark bars while watching movies or viewing pictures all four corner have yellow clouds. Very distracting and ugly to look at. If you will use the screen in its native resolution(full screen) at all times the monitor looks great. Do not recommend because of this.
- Curve is excellent. Immersive in games, makes for a great 'double desktop' experience for work.
- Sound is quality, as I don't run external speakers and don't need anything too deafening.
- Build-in stand is nice, and I love the design.
- Everything just works. I loved also the PBP feature which display two different outputs in a split screen.
- The audio was only average at best - maxed out volume for 7 watt speakers should sound better - so if you don't have external speakers, you will probably need them.
- The menu system is intuitive and quite functional without being inundated with tech speak. The two issues that are of concern and tend to be a useability problem are the placement and ALL IN ONE function of the single menu button.
- Screen is matte, not glossy. Might be able to peel off the matte layer, but I'm not stupid enough to try nor do I want to.
- No height adjustment but I don’t use the stand.
- Brightness control is very narrow. I can't tell the difference between the 0 and 100 setting. Also, can't control brightness from Mac OS either.
- WEAK speakers. 7 watts of power? Seriously, my grandma outputs more with irritable bowel syndrome and a can of beans. This is good enough for email dings, but for music playback you need to invest in external sound.
- It’s nice that they bundled a DisplayPort cable, but then it dawned on me, that my Mac Mini and Surface 3 use Thunderbolt / mini DisplayPort connections.
- I got these monitors because my Mac Thunderbolt monitors were getting funky with the ports. I settled on these because they have a Thunderbolt daisy chain connection for the video.
- I've yet to test the thunderbolt ports for video! But the harddrive is running super fast and the monitor is just well, AMAZING!!
- They have display port and 2 HDMIs with a USB 3.0 hub to boot.
- Really bad image ghosting, USB ports loose power. Very poor customer service from LG.
- Thunderbolt 2 functionality fully compatible with Mac as advertised and able to daisy chain and hub.
- USB ports on the back work. Able to connect/charge USB device to/from my mac over Thunderport using the monitor as a hub.
- The monitor has 2 USB 3.0 ports. However, you don't need a USB 3.0 uplink. Instead, the internal USB 3.0 hub (at full 3.0 speeds) is serviced through the thunderbolt port back to the MBP. It's great. I get all of my peripherals and the only things I plug into the MBP is power and the thunderbolt.
- Doesn’t come with a USB 3.0 Type A to Type B cable to connect monitor USB ports to computer
- USB does not charge when monitor is in sleep or off mode.
- I purchased this monitor back in April, and since then it's had a terrible time switching between video ports. I've attached a video of the problem.
