- We have found the remote control to be quite easy to understand. There are several options to choose from.
- Using the manual controls I have found that I can better focus on troubled areas than my therapist does, since I can control the speed and timing of the massage.
- This is minor but the remote does not have lighted keys. My chair is in a darkened area so I can relax and although the screen is bright, I can’t see any of the keys to adjust the massage without turning on a light.
- I wish the remote was bigger with more options but it will do.
- It has many functions and even has a plug for smart phones. I also like Kahuna customer service. They are very helpful.
- The remote is also still crap. From the double shut-down-start, to the left is right for programs (you press left arrow to change programs while the screen goes right in ascending numbers) to the 1+4 = 5th program, and then there's the you can't change settings while paused.
- Have not tried the chair do to problems getting it together, Manual is poorly written, Have spent hours putting it together due to the screws not lineing up with the holes.
- The operating instructions are very brief and the graphics on the buttons are very tiny and hard to see. There is no explanation as to what the preset programs amount to.
- Really gives a good massage. Once I'm in the chair, I don't want to get out.
- It gives a strong massage, which is perfect. If you like gentle massage this is not a chair for you.
- BUTT massage. Strength and variety of massage settings.
- It has full body massage functionalities.
- There is no thigh massage. This is such a common feature that it never occurred to me that ANY chair would not have it. The 6800 does not.
- The S-track back massage is absolutely amazing.
- I bought the chair back in March. I use it every day. I even sleep in it, it's so comfortable.
- Even feel a little too tall for it, like my legs are too long. The neck and head don't get massaged like other chairs either. Love the yoga stretch feature.
- We use it almost daily and it has definitely made a difference in how our body's feel at the end of the day. Its very comfortable and has numerous setting that cover from the head to the buttocks.
- The max intensity is not intense enough for me
- It seems to be well-built. It looks nice and the neutral colors go with just about any decor.
- There are many customization/hack options. For example, many people wrote about the excessive strength of the foot massager. Well, some people like it really strong (not me) but a terry cloth hand towel in the foot piece lessens the pressure nicely.
- It has stretch functions, and you can move the chair any way you want to (back or legs move independent), which is great. push the back down, and lower the legs, and it will stretch your back and legs.
- It has L track, which goes down to the buttocks. L track is usually the more expensive type chair that starts at much higher price range than this chair.
- On auto setting, the rollers seem to work on the lower back most of the time instead of moving up or down.
- The width of the back rollers on most setting cannot be changed.
- Lack of memory. The more complex these massage chair get, the harder it gets to find the desired setting. But when you do, there is no way to keep it in memory in this chair. So you have to go through the whole thing everytime you turn on the chair.
- The chair is very quiet when in operation
- As others have mentioned if the foot massage hurts your feet simply unzip the foot pads and add the included foam. For us, 3 layers were perfect. I will also add a layer of foam to the calf area. Takes just a few minutes.
- Very easy to assemble for anyone with a modicum of ability. There is an excellent YouTube video showing very clear and easy to follow assembly.
- Had a problem with a clicking noise they sent a part to fix, but not someone to fix it. Good thing I'm mechanically inclined. Overall a nice chair.
- Nice design and functions beautifully.
