- I have now had a chance to use this booster/jumper twice to start cars with dead batteries, and it has worked well in each situation. It was so quick and easy to pull out this charger from my truck and jump start another's truck and an SUV.
- So I'm sold; I've already ordered another one, this time the 2000 amp...but it'll be used with a larger V8 LS1 engine. It'd probably be fine with the 1000amp, but why risk it?
- My team loves these, we do a lot of battery jumps for our job and get tons of use from them. They are light, compact, portable and easy to use. I recommend going with the 2000 amp if possible.
- Fantastic product. Nothing compares to this one. I got A recommendation from a friend mechanic who has A 4000 amp version and said his can re-start a semi and I get the 2000 version one.
- The truck is a 6.2 liter engine, and even though the GB40 limits its recommendation to engines up to 6.0 liters, it cranked over on the first try. Talk about impressive!
- Great technology for jump starting cars. This battery is small but packs a punch. Lithium ion technology allows this unit to crank medium sized engines. Easy to store and use.
- I have tested this on several gas and diesel engines, even with dual battery setups and it will definitely jump a dead battery. From the testing that I have done, I think that NOCO's ratings on engine size for starting are probably on the conservative side.
- My car was having a hard time starting and I knew my battery would soon need replacing. Bought this before replacing my battery to see how well it worked. Sure enough I had to use it twice to jump my car (v6 3.5L)
- I have used the GB150 to start equipment with various size engines, no problems. I always charge the units after each use and/or at least once a month. It's all about maintenance people, do the work and it will work when you need it
- I have a 6 Cylinder Vehicle. This has helped x2. The first time I left interior lights on, and my car would not start the next day. I brought this out, and the car started on the first boost, though it was a weak sounding car.
- I like the features that don't allow you to reverse the polarity on the clamps, as well as the ability to recharge anything via two USB ports.
- Came with a DC 2.1amp charger adapter. Note – You can use the dc adapter to charge this or simply use the included micro usb cable to charge this using a usb wall power adapter or usb hub. Use a power source of at least 2amps.
- The USB charge functions are a great feature as well for phone, tablet or mp3 player charging.
- Both USB in/ out ports have an attached dust cover, and so does the port to plug up the clamps. The clamps are joined at one end with a quality cap and dust cover same as on the actual jumper pack.
- If I never needed it I'd at least have some piece of mind, a handy flashlight, and a USB cigarette adapter as a consolation.
- Instructions are clear and connectors are long enough so you don't have to worry about reaching terminals of battery.
- It comes with a USB A to Micro-USB B cable, which I used with a USB wall adapter that came with my iPhone. NOCO's manual says it takes about 6 hours to charge with a 1A adapter (the iPhone's adapter carries 1A), which is about how long it took me to charge the jump starter.
- The battery works great to start our Honda Pilot, but the micro-USB connector is fragile and broke off after about 6 months use.
- The biggest issue with the NOCO is that the included jumper cables are short. They're about a foot long and the negative lead was nowhere close to reaching the far side of the engine where Toyota recommends connecting it.
- If this modification takes place along with longer cables, 5 stars for sure.
- Best feature of this is the safety it offers. Jumping between two vehicles can be very dangerous and is not something I prefer my wife doing. These are not only spark proof but have reverse polarity just in case….
- The lights are a nice feature to use to jump your auto at night or if you're ever stranded on a dark highway or parking lot.
- It has so many features (portable charger, jump pack, 12v accessory port, & 7 different LED light modes. It also weighes no more than a 5 pound bag of sugar.
- I'm a flatbed tow truck driver for AAA in Pittsburgh Pa, went to a V8 Ford Explorer last night that was totally dead used the bypass feature and it started it like it had a bran new battery in it. Love it for such a small package design.
- The NOCO is quite easy to use and has a safety feature that tells you if you have the cables connected backwards.
- Charge indicator light shows the battery's remaining capacity. Can be charged from a USB connector.
- this product provides all of that power in a package that will fit in your vehicle console, glove box or car door storage compartment, and provides emergency lights, and USB charging capabilities.
- The NOCO is quite easy to use and has a safety feature that tells you if you have the cables connected backwards.
- This little jumper is super easy to transport and setup. One person can do this on their own with little effort. I've jumped everything from passenger cars, to diesel trucks to boats and it works 100% of the time.
- This easy to store in your vehicle jump pack can be a life saver. I bought a personal one after using them at my job. They are easy to use and seem to always work as long as they are properly charged.
