- The soundstage is pretty wide with the W80 2 low, 2 mid, and 4 high drivers which brings them to the top among analogues.
- These 8-driver babies deliver the sound you have been looking for with bass, mids and highs that have beeen missing especially with the shures.
- I do like how low-mass and compact the IEMs are when inserted in the ear though. As for tips, I switched out the stock foam, for a set of Comply tips which, for me really brought out the bass.
- They have full and organic bottom end - the lush mids and now as well absolutely natural treble that is still fatigue free but has the sparkle that I missed before with the W60.
- One thing about cable. Not comfortable around the ears, and the cable is very sensitive to touch.
- I have never seen isolation this good, just make sure you get a tight fit.
- They're comfortable and do an excellent job of isolating you from the environment.
- Isolation is not so much that you can't hear someone trying to talk to one, but once the music turns on you're in another world!
- Sound isolation with Shure's foam tips is almost exactly like that of the Etymotic ER4S - the best I've ever heard in terms of NRR.
- The sound is so clear - truly amazing. The bass is very good - much better than the Shure 400 series.
- Westone’s proprietary balanced-armature drivers provide enhanced sonic detail and frequency range that extends well beyond other in-ear solutions.
- Great fit and excellent ALO Cable included. Very refined harmonic musical signature.
- These just slip into my ears and after seconds I can honestly say that I don’t feel them anymore. These can be worn for hours a without any complaints.
- Eartips are like small beans that just slip in your ears. They sit well, don’t fall out with the right tips, just super comfortable.
- The bluetooth cable resembles earrings when you wear it. It would be great if they made it longer.
- These come with many different accessories, from multiple sets and types of eartips, to various cabling adapters and even a large hard case and cleaning cloth.
- Professional packing job, heavy duty cases. I did try the different filters and settled on the black(smooth) one.
- The travel case is great and the pelican case for rugged storage is perfect.
- The earphone itself is in a Crystal-clear casing which shows off its internal components in all its glory.
- I use the yellow foam sleeves and have had no issues with fit, sound, or comfort.
