- These speakers are great for a mid size room for theater or gaming
- Apartment front room is 12 x 17 and I wondered if I had bought too big of speakers but they are just fine. The Polk TSX 330T speakers are well built and a bargain price.
- They are surprisingly low weight, so they are very easy to move around and don't have a lot of Booming Bass
- The Polk's sound much better than the "surround" speakers. The Polks are very light weight also
- The size was the main factor works great like did like the sound
- Love these speakers, perfect size with a good sound
- The towers came looking nice and clean, but felt quite light weight.
- The tweeters shine through very clearly, the mids are great and the bass punches just fine - especially if you are running these without a sub.
- Music is awesome through these, and home theater is EXCELLENT. I'm running mine through a Sony receiver with all HDMI inputs. When you receive yours, pop in Star Wars Force Awakens for great demo of what these puppies can do.
- The speakers sound awesome with my budget setup. I have a Yamaha 5.1 receiver pushing 100w per channel. I also have the TSx Center speaker, which really completes the set
- The mid's are decent and as stated before, with some sound calibration they will sound pretty good. I'm actually contemplating using these as surrounds in a 5.1 configuration.
- Aside from the disappointing bass, the overall sound is woody and boxy. Not what you'd expect from a $500 pair of speakers made by a very well-known speaker maker.
- The frequency is in fact 33HZ. If you want to listen to the low notes(25HZ) such as a bass guitar or a movie track that dips into this frequency range then a subwoofer is needed.
- Very powerful speakers and crystal clear sound. Very powerful as well.
- These really rock and look realky nice in my cave, they can definately handle my hi powered reciever.
- Great audio and clarity with sound loudspeaker delivers high-quality audio, so you can enjoy your favorite tunes to the max. Dynamic Balance technology provides a wide frequency response and low distortion.
- EXCELLENT With booming bass and balanced tones, this Polk Audio T50 loudspeaker delivers high-quality audio, so you can enjoy your favorite tunes to the max.
- The speakers have clear sound and a decent amount of bass, even without a subwoofer, but they don't get to the super low frequencies.
- Midrange is mediocre, probably because it does not have a designated driver for midrange frequencies. distorts the lows at high volume especially when the song has a lot of bass
- These speakers are VERY well constructed. It's hard to see in most of the pictures, but the sides have a very elegant curve to them - they aren't typical "boxes."
- They have functional shock absorbing feet on them, and their weight keeps them in place.
- The grills are nice, but I like the look of the speakers without them
- I just picked up a pair of these used, with the cherry finish. I am completely satisfied with them.
- The feet on the speaker are slightly cheap looking, but on carpet this won't matter.
- Dynamic Balance technology provides a wide frequency response and low distortion
- The T50s are well built, very stable and really good looking (this was also important to me because the wife factor). The grills on the from can be removed and put back any time.
- Midrange presence is outstanding, making them perfect for a home theater. Bass is tight and controlled, and sturdier than you might expect
- The sound is very clear in general and the connectors in the back are banana plug-compatible.
- I kept getting check speaker wire and the power supply would shut off.Finely the speaker went kaput and I only used it a handful of times. I purchased top quality speaker wire from Radio Shack so the wires were OK. the wire inside the speaker is bad.
