- Unoxing was kind of a chore but a good one the wood seems to be a very good quality and the weight of them keeps them stable and on the ground.
- I can only add that these guys are heavy! Not easy to move around, but that is in part what makes them such fantastic speakers ... recommendable.
- Considering the size and quality of construction, they aren't overly heavy either (~60 lbs.)
- These are big, heavy speakers but fit they into any decor and because they are thin--only about 9 inches wide--- they actually don't take much space.
- These sound great but are super heavy. Do not attempt to lift them alone. But once you get them set-up, they are sweet.
- The speakers are big and heavy but the sound quality justifies buying these.
- Way bigger than I expected. Which is good. Awesome sound. Nice looks.
- Speakers are tall, are of good quality and look good in the room I have set up.
- They are impressively tall. They look good, and are well made. I am very satisfied.
- These speakers are tall and heavy so you will not be hiding them or moving them around to often.
- The sound of these speakers is simply thrilling: beautiful, clear, spatial, accurate sound.
- These speakers sound equally good with music and movies, having had the chance to test them out pretty extensively since getting them just over a month ago.
- Mid- and High-range detail are exceptional on the RTI A7s, really light years ahead of my old dinosaurs, and perfect for HD formats like BluRay or SACD.
- Another quick note is that when brand-new they sounded a bit bright, but now that I've had time to break them in that issue is gone.
- The only downside is the fact that they require a lot of power to sound great.
- Sound quality using S60’s is excellent, confirming what other reviewers have reported.
- The bass is well behaved and powerful and does not overpower the top end.
- Piano and drums sound full and natural, as you'd expect from Polk.
- Detail of instruments in the mid range and hi end have a lot of power and texture--adding to the overall enjoyment of this fine speaker.
- Polk makes nice speakers that sound good and these do just that--They sound great.
- Look and feel is nice too. They feature a sleek curved cabinet design with a black-oak finish, pewter-accented grilles, and stand about 42".
- The sleek design is superb and they become part of the furnishing.
- Awesome speakers! Attractive, sleek design. Great right and left front channel speakers in my theater room.
- Killer speakers!! Amazing sound and attractive design.
- The looks of the speakers are amazing. For the price you get amazing value, real wood veneer, curved cabinets, sleek overall design.
- It is a very nice looking speaker that Your Wife will love.
- The Piano sounds very Natural and Weighty while the other instruments fill the air with their own sound. Voices are natural and easy to understand.
- These are powerful speakers that have the ability to produce the timbre of instruments that will make you take notice.
- The S60's are nicely designed, aesthetically pleasing, and very well built.
- They are nice and deep with good feet for stability. That's very important in a tower.
