- Does a very good job at cooling down my i7 8700k. I am getting frame rate boosts because of the lower temperatures and boost clock.
- Compared to an air cooled system you can expect to see a decent drop in temps anywhere from between 5-10C depending on the cooler you are using.
- In summery this is an amazing cooler for those that are not ready for the DIY liquid cooling builds.
- If you don't mind the software, this is a great cooler if you're intimidated by the concept of making your own cooling system like me; just hook it up and it performs very well.
- Very poor quality, and I have had one of the two fans in each of my last two orders get louder and louder: a kind of rattling sound, like a bad bearing or bearing sleeve or something.
- If you're not going with water cooling this is your best choice. This product beats out most of the entry level water cooling options and performs really close to the top end ones.
- Keeps CPU extremely cool.
- I'm actually a bit surprised but Noctua has convinced me. I don't often use Air coolers for builds anymore but if and when I need to I know that Noctua does make high performing products.
- Best, most effective air-cooled heat sink I've ever owned. Don't even need the second fan that's included, I'm under 60 degrees C at full load at my max overclock.
- With good airflow, this will allow you to overclock without worrying about cooling.
- Because of my case size and I’ve recently consolidated my storage I now have room for this and plan on repurposing the H80i v2 for an ITX build.
- It took a full sized case, Corsair 780T, because the two products overlapped in a way that made installation of this liquid cooler impossible on a midtower case.
- It will also give you an idea of the size of the radiator and if it will work with your computer's case. If you are a 'leave the case open' kind of gamer then just go ahead and buy it anyway.
- The tubing is really thick and it was hard to permanently position; I had to affix it to the radiator so I could get the glass panel on.
- Back to the H110i, it's great. The radiator is big--almost TOO big--and it keeps my Ryzen 7 1800X temperatures cool and stable.
- Installation is easy considering the size.
- It does a nice job of cooling but it's huge. It blocks access to the memory modules on my motherboard.
- Be prepared for the size of it and make sure it will fit in your case.
- Only major complain is the size it's huge and a pain to put on and still interferes with ram space.
- Be careful with the size of this monster. It is HUGE. If you have a large computer case, this shouldn't be a problem at all. The size of the cooler helps with its performance.
- Once installed the cooler looks great, I love the LEDs and the clean look it gives the entire build in comparison to a huge radiator being mounted on my CPU.
- Install was simple. The fans don't come pre-mounted, you have to attach them to the radiator yourself.
- The thermal compound is pre-applied very nicely and evenly. It's very thin as well, which is what you want.
- The noise issue with this product really shouldn't give you too much noise trouble provided you find replacement fans, have a soundproofing case, or simply don't mind the noise.
- Corsair Link software interferes with OC'ing, and has conflicts with other software, causing system instability.
- The controller program doesn't control very well. You have to dig to find where you can fine-tune the cooler settings. It does look nice though. It doesn't compare to NZXT's CAM program though. However NZXT's CAM program is known to conflict with certain games (StarCraft 2).
- Even at 100% fan speed, they are not very loud.
- Slightly puzzled by the inclusion of the speed reduction adapters, as even at full speed, these fans are completely silent.
- This fan is quieter at full speed than my stock CPU cooler was at it's slowest.
- It's about the same as the noise floor in a normal room.
- A long way from the scary temperatures I was getting prior to the new cooler. I cant imagine this cooler getting hot ever!
