- Build quality is excellent. Also they have some kinda balanced size, so can fit any place and look great.
- They're have a surprisingly nice low end for speakers this size.
- For the price, weight, and size this is the best speakers ever.
- They produce lots of dynamics and volume for such small speakers.
- They are a little big for a desk, so I don't know how to name them sa computer speakers.
- No other powered speaker in this size (and I have tried many of them) will sound nearly as good.
- I can’t believe the room filling sound these small speakers put out.
- Great bluetooth music sound from a small pair of desktop speakers.
- Very impressed from how small these little guys are. Highly recommend!
- On their own, the HD3's perform impressively for their small size.

- They sound rich and full, even streaming from my cell’s Pandora.
- Regardless of their classification, these are top-notch speakers and produce great audio - you'd be hard-pressed to find better for the price.
- I'll just say that these speakers have become my go-to for listening to everything I have regardless of format
- The audio quality of these speakers is kinda phenomenal.
- The main flaw is a boomy mid-bass, probably from a peak in the frequency response. This obscures some of the high frequencies, which are slightly harsh at times.
- Sound quality of these speakers I can call outstanding after 100+ hours of listening.
- Capable of sustained, quality unreasonably loud and generally unflappable output.
- The sound output is definitely the star of the show with these speakers and has cemented in my mind that Audioengine considered the actual speakers.
- Sound is great and the Bluetooth connectivity range is amazing.
- The speaker sound amazing. They are well built, look great and I'd love them.

- These look great and sound very good. The built-in amp is adequately powered.
- Improved thermal management, so manufacturer made some changes between the A5 and the A5+ that addressed the overheating others have reported.
- There is a user-replaceable fuse on the back (which I've never had to replace, but I think it's a good thing). Remote control is merely adequate.
- I do recommend getting the subwoofer. For the 2.0 system, they have some lack of bass.
- More options in hookups would be much appreciated to make them more versatile (HDMI, optical).
- Amazing onboard amplifier quality and analog input resolution.
- Headphone output quality is very good. Also whole speaker system looks expensive and nice.
- USB audio with the PC and bluetooth with the iPhone both work well.
- Onboard DAC in USB mode instantly shuts down on silence cutting off the start of every sound sent to it, even going from track to track.
- The bluetooth is very spotty. On off I can't enjoy them and I am ready to toss them out a window!
