The Forté BG is a compact, weight-based, commercial grade grinder, dedicated to grinding for brew methods requiring a medium to coarse grind. The Forté BG incorporates many features that fit well into commercial operations, including: all metal construction; small footprint; intuitive control panel; and solid macro/micro adjustment. Coffee professionals have learned, from using the Vario-W in the brew bar setting, that weight-based grinding improved their workflow and efficiency. In response to the Vario-W success, and growing demand for this approach to grinding in the commercial environment, we have developed the Forté BG.

Excellent coffee grinder for busy kitchen where different family members make espresso and filter coffee several times a day.
Solid construction. Looks great on the countertop.

The quality and sturdiness of the grinder is better than others that I have had and is worth the extra cost.
Very light weight, not hard to clean and it has an on and off switch that is nice to have on the unit.

It has programmable timing pre-sets which I imagine could be helpful.

The unit as a whole is very sturdy, and there are some excellent engineering touches like the grippy rubber body and static-free grind collector.
Quiet operation compared with some other machines.
Really good, does what it's supposed to. The scale is a little bit off every now and then.
It doesn't work at all anymore after a few months. Motor and grinder not powerful enough and it just stopped grinding.
I've only ground a few shots worth of espresso and already it has stopped working. The motor struggles, speeding up, then slowing down.
