- It has plenty of power for an 18" bar.
- No problem starting hot or cold. It cuts well and is low vibration.
- On it's initial run, it was cutting through the Elms like butter, and I wasn't even running it at full throttle due to the break in period. It doesn't vibrate too much either.
- The chain brake had a problem right out of the box but was quickly fixed at the store where I purchased it.
- This is great for cutting/making firewood the bar is not too long ,and it only weighs 10 pounds . So it is very easy to maneuver.
- Has a built in container and auto release of chain/bar lube - so you dont have to manually apply.
- I have the 18" bar installed. This is a great size for collecting firewood in the forest, to clearing trees/limbs on your property. It starts easy and has been simple to maintain for all my uses. Great tool and a great price.
- The oiling/lubrication for the chan/bar, is just right, using the Husqvarna oil. As an average homeowner, I can endorse and recommend this powerfull chain saw!
- THE ENGINE RUNS GREAT! HOWEVER, TWO THINGS WENT WRONG. EITHER THE BAR WAS BAD OR THE CHAIN WAS BAD.
- Light weight for when I'm cutting for a few hours or going through the woods with it.
- The weight to power ratio is perfect and allows me to work all day with out getting worn out.
- Good buy and user friendly. Light weight.
- This saw is amazing!!! Light weight, a lot of power.
- The size is a good balance between having enough bar (and power) to get through some tough, medium sized trees and still being fairly light to use all afternoon.
- It is very powerful in relation to its small weight and size. Amazing power in a small package
- is an excellent medium size saw for the homeowner like me. I like the saw because it is easy to start, quiet and powerful.
- Just the right size and power for large home use.
- I ordered this saw for my husband for Father's Day. He loves it! Great size, nice power, and well balanced.
- Starting is easy hot or cold, I like the decompression button alot for cold starts.
- The fuel level window is a nice plus as well.
- Startup is easy and certain in all temperatures. Access to the spark plug and air filter is also easy.
- The saw is designed to run out of fuel before bar oil if you fill both tanks at the same time.
- The chain adjustment mechanism is much improved from my 142 -- a big plus since keeping your chain properly adjusted is extremely important for reliability, functionality and safety.
- Hi, All the ads tend to show this product to be identical to the 450, but it isn't. The 450 has a two nut attachment for the bar and when I got this saw I found that this machine only has one. Really not good.
- Either way, the saw has endured hours of use. As of now, it seems to be getting better with use. It starts easier, rev's quicker and has more power than when new.
- We cut wood to heat our home in N. Wisconsin. I have used the 450 for 4 years. Starts easy and is a champ cutting oak, maple and birch. Very happy with it. Tough saw.
- Easy starts, stays running & gets the job done without the frustration of a saw that doesn't work right.
- Cut thru a 40" tree yesterday. had it laid over and bucked in a an hour , hour and a half. didn't slow down once. as for durability I inly had it for 3 or 4 months. but It's still runs great. starts easy. think about it the saw was made in 2009 , still running I'm assuming like it was brand new
- Used the brand new saw every weekend for three months to cut firewood rounds, maybe 15+ cords. Then like a light switch started to have troubles. Chain would begin stalling in middle of rounds and clutch would begin to overheat. Not a chain or bar issue, tried new of both.
- It is powerful enough for a homeowner but may be a little light for commercial use.
- This chainsaw for its size is very powerful! it has easily cut through anything that I have presented to it.
- It has a lot of power and is making my work a lot easier. If I knew what I do now I'd have done this a couple years ago.
- Plenty of power to cut through pinon-pine and juniper.
- There is also enough power to get the job done. I originally wanted to get a cheaper Remington model or Poulan im glad i went with the proven Husqvarna.
- This thing has great power. It's quieter than the others. It starts on the first pull EVERY TIME. The trees don't know what hit them!
- great chain saw. Kicks the ass off my old "wild thing". This has plenty of power, great handling, and really slices through the logs.
- Got the chainsaw when the price dipped a little sweetening the deal. The saw is easy to crank and has at least ample power.
- This saw is very easy to start, operate and maintain. Has good power! Glad that I went with this one and not another that had slightly less cc's .
