- For specifications, I purchased the 6 1/2" speakers, which are 3-way speakers. They have a 50W RMS power, with a maximum nominal value of 300W. They make good sound.
- I got two pairs of this 3-ways to replace all four speakers in my car which were 4-ways. running a Pioneer AVIC-X950BH in-dash navigation AV receiver with a built in amplifier at 50W x 4, so this speakers were a good match for nominal power of 50W.
- Best of all they sound great. Much better than the stock speakers and I'm very happy with them. The sound is crisp clean powerful and not loud. Conversations can be carried on over the music without screaming - traits of good speakers (and amp).
- These speakers are bright and crisp and can handle high volumes without distortion being powered by a 50 watt rms amp.
- Good speakers just not enough power. JL loud speakers a much better in my opinion.
- They sound amazing!! I installed 4 of these in a 2016 CR-V. mind blown. You will most likely need a new head unit or an amplifier as most stock units don't provide enough power.
- This sound awesome great price I've have them in my g35 I have 4 of them and let me tell you they sound great powered by a Alpine 4 channel amp at 40 rms each channel .
- These speakers are beasts, my pioneer head unit only pushes 14 1/2 amps RMS per channel that's not enough to power these. Be sure you have enough power.
- I bought two pairs of these speakers. I thought these speakers were tougher. They are almost burnt. I dont hear them to loud, but they dont support much power.
- Great high frequency sound quality, very clear sound quality, and can handle a lot of power.
- The frequency response is a very wide range which leads you to believe you'll hear more than other speakers that are say 22,000 Hz or marginally higher.
- These speakers are very loud but clear at the same time... I had them for a couple months now and use them for mid and high frequencies and boy these speakers have punch for the price...
- They are good for replacement speakers, but if you are wanting more bass response, then you must combine them with a small subwoofer to compensate for the bass response loss.
- The only benefit of these over most stock speakers would be the ability to handle a bit more power. The highs aren't bright and clean, just harsh and tinny. The mids and bass are on par with stock speakers I had in a 2002 Dodge Durango.
- The overall sound is smooth and well balanced. The high frequencies are strong but not harsh.
- Very nice sound quality especially for this price range, broader frequency response than most other brand of speakers available, even at higher prices. You can't go wrong with pioneer speakers.
- Speakers work well with good high frequency range. Works well with my factory stereo.
- Great for a solid mid-bass sound. Mids are clear. Highs aren't too bright. I think with a small 100 watt per channel rms amplifier these would sound amazing. Overall, given the cost, I am very happy.
- I lost some low end extension coming from the stock 6.5 dual cone speaker in my 2017 ford f-150, installed in the rear doors. They were of course cleaner sounding but waaaay too much output at a few high frequencies giving some chalkboard scratching like harsh sounding peaks.
- I bought 2 pairs (4 speakers) to replace stock speakers in 2001 Honda CR-V. These are very shallow and fits perfectly into the stock locations with no modifications. The screw holes are placed to accommodate metric measurements as well as standard.
- The extra added depth in the cone/woofer really pushes some bass. I'm powering them with an MTX 2-channel amp and really like them.
- Amazing sound and at such a value! I installed these myself into my '02 Camry. It took special mounts for the front and I drilled my own holes for the rear. It was a good learning experience for me.
- This was a custom installation. The pickup I have does not have wire run to the back of the cab. I cut two 1/4" plywood sheets to fit the cubby holes. I mounted these speakers on the wood and used four screws to secure them inside the cubbys. They fit well and sound great.
- Large tweeters did not allow me to put my speaker covers back on.
- Excellent speakers for the price. They are designed for shallow mounting depth, so they don't have as much bass as deeper speakers, with larger magnets. They have good bass though. Definitely an improvement over factory speakers. Very good range and sensitivity.
- I mounted these on my motorcycle, the sound AWESOME! Full, thick, rich sound. And to get that out of a speaker mounted on a batwing, open road noise and elements is refreshing!
- Preformed as expected and was the perfect fit for the space I had available to mount them.
- One out of the four speakers halfway unglued itself from the outer metal mounting ring and caused terrible cracking noise. Pioneer let me down. It was an easy but ugly fix with some rubber epoxy to reattach it, but this is silly.
- The speakers sound great, but be careful when mounting them. The guards break easily. I had too much force on the screw and a couple of them broke- you can fix this with a small washer but it looks really poorly done.
