- I chose the two-seater so that I could accommodate another person, or a dog. If you do go with this kayak, I recommend you set it up in your home first to get the hang of the inflation process, and make sure everything is in working order.
- Overall it's a good kayak and very roomy for one person and decently roomy for two. I've used mine fishing in the ocean and it gets the job done.
- The only reason I gave 4 stars is that with just one person paddling, even with the skeg, it doesn't track all that well. I
- This is a great 2 person portable kayak than can be used as a 1 person.
- "Two-person" might be a little optimistic, unless they are small persons
- It doesn't have a lot of extra space for gear with 2 people in it. It's easy to use for only one person, almost every day I take it out by myself. By myself I've taken it fishing, and I've packed gear to go for a small camping trip.
- The boat also tracks pretty well, is easy to paddle, and is just a lot of fun. I highly recommend this product. A great deal for the price and should last years and years.
- This was very easy to blow up and we had a lot of fun rowing around the lake. It's easy for one person to carry and the kayak fits in a fairly small space.
- Two adults will fit although comfortably is a matter of personal opinion.
- It is a two person kayak, but it's not. I have taken other passengers on my kayak before but it's not that comfortable.
- I was hoping it would be this good. It was very durable material and surprisingly, the oars are great quality.
- Never seemed to lose air, inflated very quickly and is made of quality materials. We dragged it back and forth on grass and rocks and it's perfectly fine.
- We've been out on it 3 times so far, and no issues with her nails on the material. It seems like very good quality and I can see this lasting quite some time.
- I'm 6 foot tall and there is plenty of room for me in the front or back seat of these, the material seems very heavy duty. These are very hard to beat for the price.
- First off the quality is really quite good, the seam welds, material etc...all a higher standard the I expected.
- It is an inflatable and it does handle differently than a hard shell, however it is easy to paddle and very very stable. I use it for fishing and although I try to be careful, the stray hook does occasionally bounce off the material.
- The material is top quality and I feel safe that it won't deflate on us.
- Great Value, high quality, durable materials use.
- The material is quite strong. You don't really have to worry about rips and tears unless you're running serious rapids -- which you shouldn't be doing anyways in this boat.
- No foot support to help with the paddling - maybe too much to ask for but I found the paddling to be very difficult without a way to help brace your footing
- A note- the power pump has a safety feature that results in the sections not fillling up as much as I would like. So, I use the power pump, then top off with the manual one.
- A nice additional feature is a very large carrying bag with zipper on top for when the kayak is deflated.
- The pump has a special feature so that whether you are pushing in or pulling out with the pump lever there is air going into the boat.
- For the youngest kids one, there is also a 'safety strap' goes between the legs, this just a safety feature and should not be pulled tight, or so we found after jumping off the dock, it causes quite the wedgie!
- A useful feature is the drain hole you can plug and unplug, so this lets you drain any water that gets stuck in the kayak.
- The paddles were great, and you could set them at an angle or parallel, which was a nice feature. The texture of the kayak is sturdy and tough.
- The pump is reversible, but the kayak rolls up nicely without vacuuming out the air so I haven't used that feature.
- The Sea Eagle comes with complete with skegs (important), seats, paddles, the foot pump, and storage bag. Everything (except PFDs) one needs to get started.
- The deluxe seats are extremely confortable, very firm and support your back better than most office chairs, let alone canoe seats.
- The seats have a pillow like back and provide good support, no problem there. Looks like this is an improvement from the past.
